The Queen definitely has had some fancy frocks. This is the largest exhibition to date of her evening gowns and judging by the pictures it looks like a must-see exhibit for those who love really ornate fashion.The dresses, all by royal designers such as Norman Hartnell and Hardie Amies, are heavy with details like pearls, sequins, beads, crystals and mink. As Hello not so kindly points out, they also show off the " monarch's once tiny waistline." Behold the danger of keeping your old clothes around as you age.
