The Target's set on Rafe Totengco

Filed under: Accessories, Fashion, Best of the Season, Designers & Brands

First there was Karl Lagerfeld. Then there was Stella McCartney. Next came Luella, followed by Paul & Joe, and now Target has tapped Rafe Totengco as its next celebrity designer.

Truthfully, when I read this story, I thought to myself, "Who is Rafe Totengco?"

Well, after a little bit of research, I found out that Rafe, whose real name is Ramon Felix, is a well-known accessories designer. His line, Rafe New York, debuted in Bergdorf Goodman's back in 1995. Since that time, he has won the Accessories Council Award for Best Accessories Designer, the CFDA's Perry Ellis Award for Accessory Design in 1999, and a Rising Star Award in 2000 by the Fashion Group International.

Okay, so Rafe Totengco is huge. Like, Stella McCartney huge.

And now that I know who he is, I can't wait to buy one of his bags when they come out in October.
