Fall trends? Think fur

So, yesterday the weather in fair Washington, D.C. topped out at a balmy, humid 94 degrees. Had I been by the pool or inside in an air conditioned house, I would not have complained. But I can't say that I enjoyed either of those activities. Instead, I was on location, shooting an editorial fashion spread for fall. (I dabble in the art of the human clothes hanger, by the way.)What seemed to be the fashionable theme of the day was fur. Rabbit, chinchilla, mink -- if it walked on four legs, you can find it in a coat this fall. (Noted exception: there are no armadillo jackets.) Now, fur is not exactly my style, but if it is your style, and you happen to have your granny's old mink stole stashed away in the closet, by all means, October would be the perfect time to pull it out.
Notice that I said October, and not August. Believe me, fur in August is not much fun.
