Not one to live in Tommy Lee's shadow, Motley Crue leadman Nikki Sixx just announced that he will be teaming up with Kelly Gray of St. John Knits fame to create his own clothing line. Of course, Sixx is not the first of the Crue crew to strike a deal with a clothing company. Tommy Lee has already signed on with the Los Angeles company People's Liberation to design jeans, hoodies and hats.

In a Women's Wear Daily report, Gray, who has in the past few years downsized her participation in the family business, said, "I don't think anyone else could have convinced me to get back into this business but he has a passion for clothing that is unparalleled. I was happy to take a year off, but (Sixx) had a passion for this business that I have only seen in the mirror."

So far no reports on what the clothes will actually look like, but I'd wager to guess that skulls will be involved. Rock star designers are so predictable.
