And for that, we have to thank Paris Hilton who wore a swan dress to the MTV Video Music Awards. While Paris' dress didn't have the head or the bill of the bird adding to the strangeness of her get-up, although the swan suggestion was still patently there in the form of the poofy white feather skirt.

The only explanation for this dress abomination is that Paris was trying divert attention from her horrible new record with an even more horrible dress. But PR stunts like that never work in the long wrong. The truth is that most of us are capable of disliking several things about Paris Hilton at once.
