For a long time, I was convinced that we just had to suffer through the discomfort when it came to thongs. The fact that something is there is uncomfortable enough, but then you take into account itchy scratchy fabrics like lace, and it's enough to make you tell yourself that VPL is totally trendy.

Thankfully, there has been a lot of progress made toward comfortable thongs. I cannot speak from personal experience, but based on blog-hand accounts around the web, celebrity sightings at stoes, and heck, even the Wall Street Journal, it sounds like Hanky Panky thongs, specifically model number 4811, are IT when it comes to true comfort. Looks like I might have to go try a pair to see if they're worth their 18 bucks.
