Celebrity Style Smackdown: Paris vs. Nicole

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Will the comparisons never end?!?! Probably not, so Styledash is joining right in with our own Celebrity Style Smackdown between the faux-stars of reality TV's The Simple Life. Though we've seen them both rocking the same Roberto Cavalli dress, the girls have wildly different styles. Nightclub-hopping socialite Paris is girlish and flashy. Nicole's personality comes across as saucier than Paris's, but her style is slightly more subdued, tending these days toward a Bohemian lady. Both girls have been spotted in teeny bikinis. Paris keeps it simple in a striped string bikini. We have no comment on Nicole's "look" that hasn't already been said. Winner: Paris. While Paris looks fun and flirty on the beach, we are in love with Nicole's Audrey-esque style in every scene - pearls, perfect upswept hair, and her big doe eyes. Winner: Nicole.
At the VMAs, it seems both girls were channeling Madonna from the '80s. We were more than a little horrified for Paris in a travesty that we can only call "Swan Lake Like a Virgin." Rarely, if ever, do we see the hotel heiress in jeans, and here's why: Paris just doesn't look right. Nicole, on her way out of karaoke night at Guy's in LA, looks comfortable and cute in a sheer, breezy top over skinny jeans. Winner: Nicole.
What do they eat? Well, we've ob-seen Paris with a Carl's Jr. burger, and apparently, beef and buns is her thing, since she was on her way to In N Out just a few days ago. In the photo, Nicole is holding a slice of pizza, but we think she was using it as a prop, not for food. Winner: Paris. (Nicole Richie photo: The Superficial)
If you were wondering what ever happened to the fingers on the "gloves" that Paris was wearing with her outfit at the VMAs, we found them. Paris goes out on the town with black leather fingers-only gloves that are just too weird for words. Nicole Richie's dress on a dinner date with Brody Jenner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills is gorgeous, but it looks like the dress swallowed her. Winner: Nicole. (photos: Popsugar)
Thankfully, it's nice to see that neither Paris nor Nicole feels the need to dress up to go shopping. Paris walks out of Barneys in a hippy-chic red and turquoise dress, but in mathcing shoes and accessories. Nicole walks out of Ron Herman in ragged cut-offs and a Boho chic top. Winner: Paris. Paris was everywhere for Fashion Week, and she had her moments. She looked adorable at the Luca Luca show in a black strapless dress, but was just downright scary in an animal print dress. I think it was her bordello vixen hair. It doesn't appear that Nicole made it to New York this time around (or if she was there, we certainly weren't aware of it), but this past spring and last fall, she looked very-well put-together in all black and a beautiful red gown. Winner: Nicole.
So based on our battles here, Nicole wins overall! What do you think?

Nicole, I realy loved you when you were chubby and so buxom. Like in the first episodes of "Simple Life".
Believe me when I say that by far the most loved you that way. You were a bit an 'naughty' girl. I loved it!!!

Who cares really? I mean it who cares? Not me...yeah I agree they both need to pig out everyday probably for like a couple of months...I think Nicole is prettier than Paris in a lot of ways but needs to quit starving herself! Are they not friends-is that why this is up? I'm over it and so everyone else should be too! Peace.

Nicole wins hand down. She has a certain elegance without the over the top show of attitude. She carries herself well and should be very proud that she is a better person than Paris.

I think Paris has a much better fashion sense and is by far much prettier. There have been plenty of times where i've seen Nichole on TV wearing something multi-colored or baggy (i.e a big white potato sack-ish dress) and wondered "WTF is she wearing? WHY is she wearing that?" I'm not sure if she's aware of this but the baggy clothes are NOT attractive on skeletons. And her outfits definately make her appear anorexic.

I'm sorry, I think they both look like crack heads!! It's a shame, Nicole used to be a knockout before she tunred Miss Annie Rexic on us! Paris always looks half dead or high...I'm hoping Nicole will eat an entire french frie before she fades away..

I'm really sorry but personally who really cares about two WAY overrated celebrities, I guess you people dont have much better things to do with your time then compair two people that should have been taken off from tv and the spotlight before they ever got in it. its amazing what a little bit of money and limelight will do to a couple of shameless idiots.

I agree with most of what was said. Who cares? I hope Nicole does not die, but she is on her way there.
Look at the spelling & grammar in these posts. Instead of surfing the net looking at things you obviously don't care about, go read a book or go to school or better yourself in some way so you look 1/2 way intelligent. Better yet, go the whole way & look intelligent! Wow! What a concept!

I like Nicole. I don't think she's anorexic. I used to look as bad as her once, and the only reason I did is because I was undergoing such a freakish amount of stress and anxiety I literally couldn't eat. I weighed 98 lbs at one point (I'm 5'6). It was horrible.
I just really wish that some of you people would stop being so horribly judgemental, none of us really know her, and to say that there are no other explanations for her thinness besides annorexia, and calling her nasty names are just uncalled for. peace.

i agree from all of the above.. nicole is a freaken anorexic bitch! im 12 and she ways less than me! how old is she like 25? and im thin but not anorexic.. paris looks way much better but paris should think about other people than herself! i vote paris has the better style.. nicole has a sense of style but she doesnt look good in them because shes soooo damn skinny i call her stick everytime i see her on the front cover of a tabloid.. nicole go get your self a in n out burger!
