Just In Case condom compact
Will a stylish little compact entice women to become more comfortable carrying around condoms? That's the theory behind Just In Case, a company that sells square compacts that contain a mirror and a discreet space for two condoms. The compacts are available in a variety of styles and colors. For the truly luxe, there is a Swarovksi crystal covered version for $199, but the other colors and finishes sell for a more modest $30. The compact comes with two condoms included to start you off.

It's not so much carrying them around (I have no problem carrying them around with me, after all, they're in my purse, away from prying eyes) it's the looks a woman gets when **buying** them! If they can come up with a way that would make the purchase more discreet and pain-free, then this compact would probably be a very handy item indeed! NE

When it comes to protecting yourself from STD's, a woman should never feel embarrassed to buy condoms or have them discreetly tucked away in her purse. You don't need to spend money on a condom compact to hide them, they're nothing to be ashamed of.

It's a nifty little thing, I want one too. A good way to keep them safe and undamaged.

Number 3, just buy them online! I get mine at http://www.safesense.com
I've used this place for several years. They have a monthly special if you get on their email list. And it's always cheaper than getting them at the drugstore. Not only that, you can get whatever special type you might need. A couple of times, they've thrown in something free which is always fun. And their stuff truly does come in a generic brown cardboard box. It does not have CONDOMS stamped all over the outside - trust me. Can you imagine? lol
But you shouldn't worry about getting them at the store. Just go to a checkout person who isn't really paying any attention to the things they scan. Or go to one who looks like a slut and they won't bat an eye. grin

Ah, this is so amazing. But I agree with #3. Us bying them just gets us dirty looks. It's pretty dumb.

It is a good thing, possibly. It is trendy or handy, also a possibilty. It is decreet, maybe before but now people know about it... dont they? I mean, if u found out about it dont u think others also have seen it. AOL has it on their welcome page -- Thursday ,, September 28 -- I dont mean to be "that guy" or anything. Just saying.

Once again, the burden of birth control responsibility falls upon the woman. But now you can get a handy dandy rubber holder that can match your purse. Give me a break. Men should be the ones carrying condom catchers around and having a little bit of discretion and responsibility but the double standards of this society always make the fairer gender the one who must do all the work just so the guy can enjoy himself without a care in the world. I am so glad I'm raising my sons to be responsible and respectful toward women and that it is THEIR responsibility as well to protect themselves...and the person they choose to be with.

How come I never run into women carrying these? If I were on a heavy date, I would carry my own.

aren't we all so very very modern as we pull out of our designer handbags designer condom containers with two complimentary condoms no less. one would think that designers would jump on this vulgar bandwagon and put their stamp on condoms. how very very hip we have all become

It's a cute idea and all if you have nothing better to do with $30. I just use an empty Altoids box to keep my condoms from getting damaged in my purse. The size is just right and it's a lot less expensive.

Nice, but hot pink would be even nicer than the red cover.

Give me a break. Everyone thinks this is cute idea? What ever happened to decency? I'm not some prudish little old lady, but come on now. Do we really need this shit. Too many one night stands. Sex is nothing special anymore because of people coming out with crap like this.
If a guy takes you out to dinner on a date and you think he needs to be repaid for it then you deserve him.
After my divorce I started dating again and basically ..yes men are a bunch of pigs after one thing. In fairness, not all of them.
My now Fiance' knew from the first date that no matter what he spent on me he wasn't getting a boink. It works. It's called self respect. Some of you ho's should try it.
I held out for the proposal and the 4 carat diamond ring!!!! Got it too.

Who cares who buys the condoms, the girls are the ones that end up pregnant or with some STD. If your embarassed to buy them you can get them in most bathrooms out of a machine, who's gonna know. You should be more concerned about yourself then what someone else thinks.

If the point is to hide the condoms by being discrete and not letting anyone know that you have them then keep then hidden in your purse. Whipping out this little compact which eventually (maybe) everyone will haveis very ineffective because everyone will know anyway...so whats the point.

I think it's too expensive for those who really need it (ie single women). Won't it get too hot in there and damage the latex? Really Cute Idea Though!

If you are planning on having sex, both men and women should carry condoms. This compact case is perfect as it keeps it discreet (you aren't advertising to anyone) and it keeps them protected. As a guy, we don't have as many places to carry things, and if you really want one that's been flattened in our wallets, then you're taking a big chance as well. Personally, women are giving it up too easy these days. Hell, from what info I get from my cousins, sex is almost a given in high-school.
Honestly, everyone thinks that it's fine and that we can handle it, but in the end, we are losing our self-respect and our innocence. The 60's preached a 'feel good' mentality, and so therefore the world is quickly spiraling into decadence. Ah well... what's a guy to do.
