I know a dandy when I see one. And with his trademark white suit (the only man to wear one successfully other than Ricardo Montalban in Fantasy Island), Tom Wolfe has style to spare.

Okay, it's true that I didn't finish The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test. And, yes, I didn't get even halfway through The Right Stuff (despite the 11th grade book report that claimed otherwise). But even if the man's prose doesn't do it for me, his outfits are the sartorial equivalent of a must-read.

Wolfe is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and rumor has it that he even gets his suits tailor-made here in Charlottesville. Clearly, his tailor is a bit better than mine.
