After formally announcing that he would not run for re-election, British Prime Minister Tony Blair is finally letting the world know a little something more about his softer side. In a recent interview with the television show, Blue Peter, Blair fielded odd-ball questions from enthusiastic viewers. One young man asked if Blair's home at 10 Downing Street was actually larger than it appeared on television. Blair confessed that his home was, in fact, deceptively small looking from the outside. (Fascinating, huh?)

But when asked about his favorite dish, Blair told the audience that he was a quite the fan of making spaghetti bolognese. Spaghetti Bolognese, eh? Don't you just mean pasta with meat sauce, Tony? If nothing else, this admission confirms my long-held suspicion that Tony Blair was a bit on the boring side.
