The question isn't whether or not Simon Cowell, the bitter, opinionated Brit judge of TV's American Idol will have a perfume. The question is: Would anyone actually go out and buy the stuff? And wear it?!

According to sources, "Simon has been approached by an American cosmetics giant to put his name to a whole range of products as well as a perfume. He's been offered a vast sum of money to do the deal." I wonder who this so-called "American cosmetic giant" is? Max Factor? I am thinking that a drugstore brand of perfume might suit Mr. Cowell just fine.
