Kate Moss defends Paul McCartney in court
Filed under: CELEBRITY STYLE, Fashion, Celebrity, News, Runway Report
Usually, when a news story involves a model and a courtroom, said-model is Naomi Campbell and said-charge is assault and battery. But this time, the courtroom drama involves "she's here, she's there, she's everywhere" Kate Moss and the divorce hearing of Sir Paul McCartney. Just to fill you in on the details, Paul McCartney is seeking a divorce from Heather Mills in what could possibly be the ugliest public divorce in recent history. The split makes Kramer versus Kramer look like child's play. As part of Sir Paul's case, his legal team will roll out a mob of high profile character witnesses, including McCartney's designer daughter, Stella, and the one and only Kate Moss. Now does putting Kate Moss on your legal defense team seem odd to anyone else? I mean, sure she's famous and super beautiful, but when it comes to being a good judge of character, I have my doubts. I mean, she is marrying Pete Doherty, after all.

It is sad. poor Paul. I think he got screwwed big time. Funny how all the sudden Heather cries Abuse when people see him as a victim, she has to shift to a new story to be in the limelight.
I feel sorry for the kid. brought into all this mess.
Paul, wasnt ever a big fan of yours, still am not, but a prenup is always the best... Nothing says " I cover me bloody bum" like a prenup.
Gold diggers are on the prowl for a good man with a big heart...And WALLET!

Gone are the days when women loved you for who you are, and not for what you could do for them - or buy them.
So sad indeed.

It`s very sad and very lonely when you lose someone you have loved (linda) and you need someone to fill that void.Paul is a good person and we alll know that. He was simply taken in by a young little vixen who saw dollar signs instead of the true man.All he needs is love, love, love is all you need.

Having a cocaine addict into the courtroom to vouch for your character???
Paul, I love you, but can't you come up with anyone better?

I don`t understand this whole...We got divorced so I get half of everything you own...junk. I can see a woman (Or man) thinking they have a right to anything they earned together AFTER marriage..Or if the woman gives up a big career or contract to get married being compensated for that...But none of that applies here so her trying to get a huge cash payoff is out of line

SHE PROBABLY HAD THIS PLANNED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING .... PUT IN 2-3 YRS. GET PREGNANT, THEN GET MILLIONS.
BUT DON'T WORRY, SHE WON'T WIN.

I do take stories of abuse very seriously in a lot of cases although I don't buy Heather Mills story at all and not such much because I am a Paul McCartney fan but because you know what, if Paul really was an abusive Husband, he would have been abusive to Linda and she would have dumped him.
But as we all know the Marriage between Paul and Linda was the longest ever in Rock N Roll History.
Not to mention Paul took really good care of Linda before she died, heck he was willing to spend a fortune to help Linda beat Cancer, he didn't care how much the treatments would cost as long as she was able to heal up.
When I 1st heard of Paul and Heather dating, I did not speak out against it because I was like well you know it's Paul's decision on who he is gonna date and I think Linda would have approved of him remarrying although im sure she would have been disappointed in a Woman marrying him for his Money.
I nowadays suspect that Heather Mills did marry Paul for his Moneyand im really not so sure if Paul could even go for remarrying now after he and Heather are officially divorced cause I honestly am not sure if any Woman would marry him for more than Money.
I don't think Heather should get any money in the settlement, if anyone should be allowed to have any Money it should be their Daughterwho will major need a lot of protection being she is daughter of a Beatle and happens to be a Child right now.

Paul McCartney's talent is world wide. His song writing is phenomenol. I am sure he is very sad over this whole affair. But the fact remains that he has a daughter and a woman that does not obviously love him. She wants out of the marriage. Sad indeed. But life goes on and one must get through the rough and the good times. I feel sorry for both of them.

I wonder if Heather came in through the bathroom window after a hard day's night and wanted to know whether or not money can't buy me love. Did she ever say to Paul "please, please me"? Either way, that was yesterday and he'd better think about following the sun because tomorrow will be just another day. Paul...I'm on YOUR side!

Paul McCartney was lucky already to have loved and lived a beautiful, real romance story, with the love of his life, Linda. It's a tragic thing she died, and tragic also that sweet Paul was so trusting with Heather Mills McUgly. (NO prenup). May he have the strength and courage to go on, and may the cruel gold-digger get hers (Ooops she did already by losing a leg). Heather will never be happy or find peace. She seems like a bitter, ugly aging woman who will always be a laughingstock. She'll get millions but will be miserable. Best to Paul!!

I watched Paul and Heather on Larry King several months ago. They were talking about the harp seal slaughter. Every single time Larry would pose a question to them, Heather would do all the talking. She interrupted Paul when he tried to make his position known. She not only expected all the attention, she talked and talked, saying the same thing many times. It was as though she needed to be the complete center of attention. Even Larry had a very difficult time competing with her...and that is what it was...a competition. I watched the facial expressions of Paul, and I knew at that time that this marriage was in trouble. Paul held his temper, but I could tell he was completely and utterly humiliated and angry with his wife for her behavior. She even has the British "talk" down pat. I thought she was from the US. She certainly didn't take long to sound very British. I just love Paul and what he and his wife, Linda, did for humanity. This Heather woman is a disaster!

The whole thing disgusts me. I had enough of the Beatles when they were popular. They drove a wedge that can never be removed, between my youngest daughter and me. I cannot be too sympathetic about a divorce between Paul and his wife. He should have chosen a wife more carefully.

Knew from the start, she was a GOLD DIGGER!! That was the only reason the tramp married him. There was no love, saw that from the start.
Paul had a true wife, shame she died. I hoper this GOLD DIGER gets her day, and loses BIG.
she should be kicked out, and I hope Pal also gains custody of his child. Hope he had a DNA to make sure this is his child. with her background, she is capable of anything.
she sure knew how to nail him, at the saddest time of his life. I hope everyone sees her for what she is. Paul,, was a fool when he married her. Most probably she gave him a hard luck story!!!
Good luck to you Paul, hope you WIN your divorce case, and she lands up with only what she deserves. HER ROTTEN REPUTATION, FOR TRYING TO BURN YOU, AND FALSE ACCUSATIONS.

Heather doesn't have a leg to stand on! Bringing up things that shouldn't even be in a court of law is proof that there isn't one cell of her that isn't screeching "GIVE ME MONEYMONEYMONEY I WILL DO ANYTHING EVEN LIE LIKE A DOG TO GET WHAT I WANT"! She is pulling out all the stops to win; I think it's so pitiful. Why oh why did Sir Paul trust this handbag?? He should have let his head rule his heart and listened to his children's pleas not to marry that witch! When all is said and done, if there ever is another Mrs McCartney, I hope he thinks long and hard about marriage again! And I hope it's someone closer to his age...and has TWO legs to stand on!!!

I have loved Paul since I was seven and I'm only 33 now. His music is a good window into his soul and it has always been about true love for people, animals, and the world. He lost his soul mate and Heather filled the void. We've all been blind to love and money seems to make the world go round these days. My heart aches for him he has been such a rock for humanity to lean on for all these years at least the public is paying him back with die hard support. Best wishes Paul!!! It always gets better.
