Paint-by-numbers wallpaper, for the (ahem) kids
Filed under: Fashion, Designers & Brands, Stylish Living
I've never been known for being steadfast. Creative, yes. Quirky, yes. Pick one thing and stick with it? Probably not. That's why this wallpaper seems like such a great idea to me. I know that the designers were originally marketing the product for children (ahem) but they have since seen the light and the wallpaper is now available for "kids who love coloring and adults who love color". The paper is available in several different prints, all of them cool on their own, but made even cooler by the numbering system that any kid (again, ahem) with a box of crayons will be hard pressed to resist.
The reason I like this wallpaper so much is that the prints look so great even before you add your custom coloring job. I could paper one wall of a room and then slowly transform the look over several weeks, months, or even years (depending on how attention-deficit I feel at the time).
A roll of the wallpaper retails for around $95, but you can get a paint-by-numbers border for only $20, all at 2jane.com. Happy coloring!
