The ugliest jeans I've ever seen: Eiffel Tower

Inspired by Anne's post about clothing line Cheap Monday, I poked around the web to see what else was out there for the hottest thing out of Sweden since Abba. I came across quite possibly the ugliest jeans I have ever seen in the world. Ever.They are called "Eiffel Tower," and I am going to guess that it's inspired by its tall, narrow silhouette that comes from skin-tight legs and the highest waistline I've seen on jeans since Saturday Night Live's androgynous Pat. Apparently, the "super high-waisted jean" is all the rage in Europe, and while some extreme styles might look good on a runway model, I cannot see how these jeans look good on anyone. The back view is about 100 times worse and have permanently scarred my retinas. They almost make the plain old skinny jean look...cute.

You have got to be kidding me? Is this what fashion has come to? I normally keep up with trends....but I don't care if EVERYONE on the planet owned these jeans and wore them all on the same day...I will never wear these jeans. I wonder what Stacey and Clinton think about this??

my God...they are horrible; I can't even imagine what to compare them with but I keep thinking that diapers are probably under them and I mean that in the literal sense....they shorten her legs, widen her midsection and that top topstitching is just plain ugly....looking at them; for some weird reason, I think the model almost looks more male than female....ugh....i so don't think so...there's also a vague sense that they might belong in a maternity line, if that huge stretch between waist and leg involved spandex.

At the very least with these pants, we aren't forced to see young girls walking past us in the mall with their thongs riding up their backs. I am so tired of seeing these young girls wearing these jeans that are intirely too low at the top and the bottoms look like they have been drug through a contruction site because they have decided to walk off the excess length. Also, the tops that they wear with these "low-cut" jeans can't ride any higher or it would be concidered obscene. I don't like these pants by any means but what happened to decent rise jeans that at least cover the parts that need to be covered? As a parent of a teenage girl, I would buy these jeans for my daughter before I bought her any low rise jeans of any kind.

Yuck-These are like a pair my mom bought me in the 70's. I am short waisted so these look really stupid on me. I was glad bell bottoms came back but these? You gota be kidding me-Who'd a thunk it? Next Disco Duck
