Self-esteem cereal bowls
Remember when "Saturday Night Live" was still funny? You know, back in the days when Stuart Smalley's daily affirmations of "I'm good enough. I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me" used to make you buckle over in laughter?Well, we all know that wishing won't bring Al Franken back to the small screen, but you can infuse your morning with the same self-help-babble using the Self-Esteem Cereal Bowls from Wrapables.com. Each over-sized cereal bowl is hand-painted to say: "I'm Talented! I'm Brilliant! I'm Good Looking! People Like Me! I Rule!" And if reading those words over your cornflakes actually make you feel better, by all means.

Christianity is also on the decline with authors claiming Jesus never existed. See also "Christianity As Fairytale" by Ron Mazur.

Um... I might be mistaken, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but does this article have ANYTHING to do with Christianity? Perhaps you read the bowl "I'm Brilliant" one too many times because you unfortunately now believe it!

Nice way to sneak in wacked info. about your lame book. Jesus Christ is and was alive and He loves you even if you choose not to even believe He existed! I hope you give yourself the chance to know Him some day!

I wonder what country this was manufactured in. I don't like to buy from overseas because, when my son's fishbowl broke, I put his two pet fish into a food-safe bowl from Israel, and the fish died within a few minutes.

I think this is a fun and funky type of set. It is nothing to be taken to seriously. I like them. I wish they had one that said, "I am funny".

What ever happened to teaching kids that the way to have great self esteem is to ACT in a way they can be proud of, regard highly and therefor find themselves worthy of esteem???

After briefly seeing some of the Billboard Music Awards last evening, the woodland creatures in my backyard ( skunks, raccoons, deer, opussum, foxes, and squirrels) have more dignity and purpose in life than those egomaniacal "artists". I am sure those overpaid entertainers have swallowed all that cereal bowl happy talk about themselves as much as their swallowed their Fruit Loops.

I think these bowls are a great way for people to lift themselves up, without discouragement from outside influences. Repitition is one of the best tools to solidify something in your mind. What better thoughts to have floating in your head every day than one's that are meant to inspire.

How cute and whimsical~ I bet my dog would like one with a big picture of a cat.... Or a bowl for a cat with a big fat bird..... I bet he would "gobble it up". Or maybe a talking bowl that says "great job" when emptied for the child who won't eat....... always looking for new items!

Isreal, huh? Did you ever stop to think that people in Isreal and just about everywhere "overseas" have been making ceramics for THOUSANDS OF YEARS before anyone in america did?? Before you go putting judgements on countries you view as lesser than your own, you might want to try checking the pH and temperature of the water you dumped those poor fish into. Or even the shock of a their broken home. You also might want to think about what america calls "food-safe" Teflon kills birds all the time and it's manufactured right in the US.
Anyway, the bowls are cute.

Well, some of you get this cute novel idea, it is not a serious item! Last Christmas I bought one for my husband who has to eat cereal every night before he goes to bed, and I added a large funny spoon and a box of cereal that he likes and made it a theme to him, he thougt it was thoughtful and funny, just what I was going for! So relax and make the Holdays fun again, just enjoy each other!

Well I'm pretty sure they got the idea for this from Dane Cook with his mirrored cereal bowls that would lift your spirits when you drank the milk, then you see yourself and say, "Hi, me!"

I think the bowls are pretty lame.
I think the jesus freak needs to get a clue.. I bet he/she thinks they are doing right leaving phamplets on restuarant tables and restrooms too...
The lady with the fishbowl.. The lil brat most likely got tired of his fish and broke it on purpose, then you put the fisk is cold chlorine filtered tap water, with no stress additives murdering the poor creatures.
I think the country itself has gotten in the toilet, Our children have NO clue regarding morals, esteem, and feel everything is owed to them. I say screw child welfare people, and bring back the belt at home. not cruelty mind you..but good sound responsible discipline.
hehehe and a note to you church people who like to grandstand and preach.. God might be able to move mountains, but its up to YOU to bring the shovel!

After reading every comment here, I've decided that we all have taken ourselves way too seriously. Geeze people.........we lay down commentary as if we are the last word on everything. Give me a break already. Get a life.......it'a freakin' bowl.

To bowl or not to bowl..that is the question. I remember sometime in the 80's when I read that tap water will be sold from the supermarket shelves in bottles. I thought then that people can't be that stuipe and buy it. Behold, now it is a status symbol. I guess it gives people self esteem to hold one of those bottles in the hand

Yes, they are cute, but did anyone stop to think about the fact that they are "oversized". People talk about kids and adults being over wieght and then turn around and sell super size bowls, meals and everything else, including the price---20 bucks :(
As far as the overseas comments, I am a proud American but sometimes we have to face facts and realize that other countries are more advance in some areas than us and some flat out make things cheaper but with the some quality. And don't most people want the best for the less. Maybe we need to stop complaining and teach our kids to be the next tech. age and put the USA back on top of the market!!!
Anyways, I think I will save my 20 bucks and praise my kids, husband and myself to go our self-esteem and teach them what self-esteem is and what it stands for.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE
