The year 2006 will be remembered as the year of the great comeback. David Hasselhoff, Jay-Z, Nelly Furtado and Diddy all made bold moves to revive their setting careers. With the exception of Diddy -- who never really let us forget about him in the first place -- these celebrities have gone from being the butt of many jokes (Hasselhoff) to becoming the man of the year (okay, only Jay-Z did that!).

That's why I'm both pleased and proud to announce that the Pashmina wrap of 1999 is also making a comeback in a big way. (Okay, that might be an overstatement, but the Pash is definitely starting to gain momentum.) Over at the London Times Online, Lisa Armstrong goes on in an enthusiastic, if not slightly incoherent account of all the signs that point to the wrap's return. They include:

• Sienna Miller has been seen sporting one.
• Flowy, unrestricted spring collections call out for a colorful wrap.

Slim evidence perhaps, but I'm all for the return of the Pash. Then again, I never really thought they were out of style in the first place!
