Bling for your Crocs
By now I think we're all familiar with Crocs, the lightweight rubber half-shoe, half-clog that come in a variety of some pretty bright (and pretty darn tacky) colors. I guess the vast array of colors wasn't enough for Crocs connoisseurs, however, because you can now personalize your Crocs with footballs, flowers, flags, and peace signs. Jibbitz makes these little rubber inserts that go in the holes found on the standard Crocs. They remind me of the once popular BeDazzler -- except it's for a pair of clogs. With Jibbitz, it's possible to make Crocs even more tacky! Pick out a few letter inserts and spell your name on your Crocs, or even show how much you love your dog with a rubber poodle insert.
I can't say that I agree with doing this, as I'm not a big fan of the normal Crocs in the first place. So, unless you're less than 10 or older than 60 -- yes, I think a grandma could pull it off! -- then stay away!
A set of 7 Jibbitz will run you $17.43, or about $2.50 for individual pieces.

I thought and still do think that they are butt-ugly. But once you wear them, they are a hard habit to break. The comfort makes up for the ugliness 10-fold. I'm 43, but on the go nonstop with 4 kids, they are better than old lady naturalizer shoes or something like that. If they still bug people that much I think that I'll get a few more pairs!

I'm sorry, but I think Crocs are uncomfortable and they made my feet sweat. I bought into the fad, but I was less than impressed. Figuring out the size system alone was a royal pain. I know you are suppose to say how comfortable they are. I just didn't think so. I'll stick with my Nike Shoxx. Now there's comfort!

I own three pairs of real Crocs as well as a pair of fake ones and find them to be the most comfortable shoes in my closet. I also love some of the Jibbitz and think they cuten up some of the ugliness of the shoes. I am 58 and no old lady! I consider them a fun way to change the look without having to change the shoe, and I have so much fun with them that I don't care what anyone else thinks! If I could wear them all year round here (Chicago), believe me I would!

I'm a grandma over 60; in fact I'm 75 and a great-great-grandmother. I love the Crocs because they are comfortable. I buy lots of shoes for style, but for comfort, it's gotta be Crocs. Maybe I'll get some of those little rubber inserts.

You gotta wear 'em before you can diss 'em! Who cares if they're ugly... They're so ugly that it makes them cute and in all colors! What's wrong with funky shoes? I love my crocs and the jibbitz too!! And I AM NOT OVER 60!

I have to agree they are ugly but once you try them on you will be sold. I thought my daughter was crazy for even thinking of getting them. they we went on vacation and I tried them on...well I now own 5 pair myself. And as far as the jibbitz go- they are cute. You can dress up your croc for the holidays or to show team or school spirit. also i have heel spurs and have trouble finding shoes that do not kill my feet- well I can walk or stand for hours in my crocs without pain. doctors recomend them now and nurses have been wearing them for years.

Nurses have been wearing these for years, and NOW everyone else is catching on to the comfort, ease, and yes, colors of Crocs. Believe me, people between 10 and 60 are wearing them too! Including Jibbitz!

The only thing tackier than those rubberized plastic shoes are the decorated rubberized plastic shoes. Get a grip people and pull your heads out of your fashion retarded asses!

After a 10 -12 hour shift at work, I could care less what people think of my Crocs. I love them and my feet feel happier in those bright funky shoes. Ihave 3 pair so far and plan on buying more. Nike...move over.

I've never written on any subject before but just want to say that in age I am a grandma over 60 but really think younger than I did at 26 (don't ask me why that's my magic age). And I have Crocs that I told my kids not to get me but they did anyway and I am really thankful. And also a flamingo and a flower insert. They are so comfortable, easy to slip on on and off. Hope they are around as long as I am!

I got two pairs of crocs for my girls because I didn't want to deal with the summer leather sandals that look dingy after a month of wear. These things are great and my girls look so cute. We pick out a new insert every time we go to Macy's. I wouldn't wear them though. I'll stick with my vans.

I got my first pair of crocs at a Veterinary conference, 3 years ago, and have been hooked ever since. I wear them to work every day and since I am on my feet all day, they are a Godsend. I wear them everywhere now, I have the ones with no holes for work (in my line of work you never know what might spill on your feet :) ) and I have the regular ones for every day. I even got my husband wearing them. Long live CROCS!!

We are boaters and have been wearing Crocs for years. The grip the wet surfaces of the boat like no other shoe. I think the rest of the world is just now catching up with us sailors. Michelle, Norfolk,VA

I LOVE my Crocs! I am a SAHM and with 6 kids, constantly on the go. I am always looking for comfort over fashion,Crocs are both. They are really comfy and easy to slip on and off. I am looking to add to my collection!! Much better than the flat slip ons that I wore and actually gave me heal spurs that took months to heal. And I am no where near 60!

When I jammed the joint of my big toe, crocs were the only shoe I could wear. Now, 4 months later, I still wear them for the sheer comfort! I am a preschool teacher nearly 60 years old and comfort is my priority on a work day, leaf raking day, shopping day, even to church. Love 'em!

I have had extensive foot surgery bilaterally and my Crocs are great!
They are the first shoes I have worn since the surgeries that are not lace-up oxfords with inserted orthotics.
I am a 67 year old grandmother and I feel just fine wearing these shoes.
