Eat, drink and sleep Moschino

Diversification is the name of the game in the world of high fashion. First you make clothes; then you make accessories. If all goes well, you might create a signature perfume followed up by a home furnishings collection. (You have to keep up with the Versaces after all).

Past the perfume/home/accessories point of brand ubiquity, there is no where left to go but the designer hotel. Bulgari, Armani, Diesel, Ferragamo, Missoni and Miss Sixty, for instance, each have their own boutique hotel.

According to British Vogue, Italian fashion house Moschino will soon be tossing its hat into mix. Like most (if not all), the new Moschino hotel will be in Milan on Corso Como, which is an up and coming district adjacent to the famous Citta della Moda. The hotel will be designed by Moschino creative director Rossella Jardini, who hopes to have the project completed by 2008.
