Whitney Houston to auction off her unmentionables

In the NY Post's Page Six Column, Richard Johnson revealed that pop diva Whitney Houston plans to auction off her collection of stage costumes, including numerous pieces of lingerie. The auction will take place in Irvington, N.J. next week. Among the gems up for grabs will be 13 Dolce & Gabbana monogrammed bustier bras, six pairs of black stretch pants (BARF!) and an array of sequined evening dresses. Between Houston's fans and the growing pool of Whitney impersonators, the auction will likely create a bidding frenzy.
Houston hopes the auction will yield hundreds of thousands of dollars, which would be a much-needed contribution to her war-chest following last year's near loss of her $6 million home due to unpaid back taxes.
The thought of Whitney Houston auctioning off her undies surely makes me giggle, but I must also ask myself ... Would I ever really want to own one of Whitney's used brassieres?

I for one am thrilled to see Whitney back in the lime light--Absolutely thrilled that such a great marvelous talent is taking charge of her life=she is doing what it takes to get back on track financially/ No I wouldnt be buying of course-but thankful such a treasure is back/ A national treasure/ Come On Whitney ! Go forward and dont look back/
Please tell this fabulous lady there is a senior citizen in FL who has been waiting a long time for her return/

Hope she at least washes them. Absolutely pathetic, though even more pathetic is the way this country takes all these freaks like this drug addict, K-Fed, O.J., Howard Stern and all the other losers out there setting bad examples for our kids and make them wealthy by continuously putting them in the public spotlight. Why don't we just say NO and let them go and crawl back under the rock they came out of. The world would be better off without them.

Hey....maybe she could sell her $6 million dollar home and downsize to maybe say a $3 million model and she could pocket $3 million in cash. Sometimes we all have to make sacrifices.......

How pathetic that someone, with some much talent, has thrown it
away and is so far in the gutter that she has to resort to selling
used underwear. Who would be do desparate to want to buy it.
Is it not too late for her to clean up her act & for her to show the
world and her "daughter " that she is the decent and talented
person we once knew!!

First the negative comments need to go...none of you have the right judge her for anything she has or has not done...him without sin cast the first stone.....she has a right to auction whatever, she feels...it's no one's business.......some time people and writers need to keep their negative self righteous comments to themselves....and clean up there own act...no one is asking you'll to buy anything...stop tearing people don after they have been through something....and rejoice in the fact she has overcome this hurdle in her life....Whitney is going to higher highest then ever before...........because she chose to face the demons in her life....unless you have walked in some else shoes keep your mouth shut....and even if you have walked in her shoes.......it's still no business of yours...people that live in glass house should not cast stones........jealous is what would make you speak neagtive about her...she's been through a very tramatic experience...would you have won or losst the battle? we don't know but, we do know she has come out....have you come out of your situations? check out your own life.....Whitney, I support you and I'm praying for you daily....

Hey, I have a used Jock strap I've been holding onto for years. Do you think Whitney would mind if i add it to her crotchless panties. might have some crust on it but what the hell a Little go juice might increase the Value. whitney if your interested I might be able to get some of my dogs droppings also. there real big, he's a golden retriver.
