Courtney Love's Style Resolutions

For the past few weeks, we've heard a lot about New Year's Resolutions. If you can stand the thought of one more paean to the Babylonian tradition of resolutions, I wanted to share a few of Courtney Love's personal style resolutions.

* Try this "thin" anthropoligical [sic] experiment -- get to my goal weight healthily [sic] and stay there
* No more surgery for any reason other than medical until i really need it in my 60s

Like all things Courtney Love, you can either complain about her or accept her for the hot mess that she is. If you can do the latter, these resolutions seem almost sincere and thoughtful. I mean, if I were a drug addict rocker and mother, I would probably have said the very same thing, especially the part about the resolution to engage in no more plastic surgery.

Any chance you could convince Jack Nicholson and Bob Dole to follow suit? Those guys are starting to creep me out.

Well Courtney, my 26 year old daughter's name is Courtney. I wish I could get a few things done and then swear off it forever. But I think you look just fine. Just keep on being you.

Poor Courtney!! My heart goes out to her, she really has been through the ringer. She's been in rehab more than anyone I know. The media is always playing her down. Give her a break!!

WHAT? Poor Courtney nothing! She has been in rehab so many times through no one's fault but her own! How about poor Frances, for having an absentee insane mother who killed her father? How about poor us for having her perpetual train wreck life shoved in our faces time after time? If anyone without millions of dollars in the bank pulled an ounce of the shit she has, we'd have our kids rightfully taken from us. What does she get for her neverending flow of craziness? A practical freaking award for her bravery! Where is a sniper when you need one? Seriously.

I swear, the more work people get done the WORSE they look! I always thought Courtney was gorgeous, but now her lips are uber-creepy! Stay AWAY from the scalpel, Courtney! You're fine the way you are- physically at least.

yes courtney is a mess, psychogically, but who isn't a bit messy these days anyway? there is something i have to respect about that. i mean after all i feel just as black-sheepish (so to speak) as courtney. i only wish that i could come to terms with the fack that i am disfunctional and embrace it the way courtney does. i respect courtney slightly, she is comfortable in her skin which is something i still have not been able accomplish. when i was a teenager people would tell me how i resembled/looked like courtney, sometimes i wouldn't know if this was to be taken as a compliment or an insult? i've seen courtney where she looks like an actual lady, but not very often. i like courtney i always have, yes she is a total nightmare of a mess but i find that somewhat refreshing and comforting, knowing there is someone out there (i.e. courtney) that doesn't have a problem with being a mess and has accepted the fact that she is a walking nightmare and doesn't care what others think, and she might even somewhat like the person she is minus the drugs, and crazy anntics.

I was in the Pro-Courtney camp for a long time, but it's hard for fans to admit they were completely snookered by a creepy media tramp. Look how folks cling to Michael Jackson despite his blatantly horrible parenting- people do these things because they are fooled into thinking admitting they were wrong about some musician reflects on them personally. Weird.

Courtney is and always has been a drug addled mess and a poor mother. Her talent is to identify a market niche that is lacking and try to sell it to you, whether it be Rock Power Wife, Hip Mama, or the Plastic Surgery Swan. And unfortunately her inner core seeps out. The Leech, the Junkie, the Bully, the Squeaky Eyed Tweak Freak.

I don't also subscribe to the Poor Kurt camp, btw. He didn't even care enough about his daughter to get clean and or be around to raise her.

I can't understand why anyone would admire this woman. I mean look at her she's a mother yet she's a junkie and a plastic surgery nut. I have had 3 kids i'm 36, i've never done drugs , I don't drink or smoke I don't sleep around or go out partying like a freak. I keep really fit by running 5km every =day and I workout in the gym every day too and i've never had plastic surgery. So I certainly don't admire her or any one else who messes up their lives like that it's pathetic, she just wants people to feel sorry for her, why doesn't she just get off her ass and get fit instead of relying on the surgeons knife.

She's just a mess, period. And the saddest part is, she's a self-made mess - she has nobody to blame but herself. I don't care that she had a rough childhood, who hasn't these days. Plenty of people with worse childhoods than hers manage to rise above it and not become a plastic surgery and drug-addicted whore in the process (sorry, yes, she really was a whore for a time, I know all you Courtney-philes don't want to hear that).

Hey Goddess, Courtney did lose Frances...she lives with Kurts parents....and I agree with you that she killed him...didn't anyone see the Unsolved Mysteries on Kurt? They should have arrested her when that aired....anyway.....
