Waiting room time, as everyone knows, is wasted time, so my thought is why not waste it in the most pleasant possible way? And by that I mean, reading the fashion mags I never allow myself to buy, like CosmoGirl or Good Housekeeping for instance. Well, in one issue of CosmoGirl, there was an interesting editorial fashion feature involving opposite-inspired outfits -- long and short, tight and baggy, colorful and neutral. You get the picture, right?

Anyway, one of the suggested outfits included a pair of Levi's overalls with legging-like trousers. Or really, I guess you could describe the piece as leggings with straps if you want to be precise. Needless to say, I found these pants to be utterly ridiculous and completely unflattering. Isn't bagginess the whole point of overalls in the first place? You wear them, you eat a huge meal and you spend the rest of the day not worrying about sucking in your stomach. But these overalls conceal nothing! In fact, they look like costumes for a dance-interpretation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical, "Oklahoma!"

Ergo, unless your name is "Curly" or "Judd Fry", please avoid these overalls...
