Eva's comeuppance won't be comped

Considering the amount of free stuff that is handed over to celebrities in the course of year, it isn't anyone wonder that most of them assume that everything they want, they get for free. But for Eva Longoria, this assumption turned out to be wrong. It wasn't exactly a replay of Winona Ryder's infamous shopping spree at Saks, but Harrod's of London made sure that Eva paid for everything she took home from the post-Christmas sale which she opened in late December. When Longoria received a bill for £13,000 worth of clothing and jewelry from the British department store, she was understandably surprised. According British Vogue, "She thought she was allowed to have what she wanted for free as an extra thank you for turning up." Instead of pitching a fit, Eva agree to pay the bill in full. Presumably, she won't be attending Harrod's Christmas sale again next year.

I think these so called stars get more than enought freebies. Hello they earn way more than the rest of us can ever hope to make. Granted so many of these designer consider it free advertising to have some Hollywood Glab girl of the minute wearing it. If I have to pay for my purchases at Harrods then so should everyone! Well done Harrods oh any by the way I loved the sale!!!
