When I think of wooden shoes, old-fashioned Dutch girls in uncomfortable-looking clogs are the first images that come to mind. But this new slip-on from Upper Playground -- though not actually made of wood -- might just change my impression.

It's funny without being campy, and stylish without being pretentious. I could see this on the über-hipster in his never-ending quest to be more ironic than his friends, or on a more moderated trend-watcher, who goes for a "geeky-cute" look to attract the ladies.
