Move over Kate Moss, here comes Kate Middleton
Filed under: CELEBRITY STYLE, Celebrity
Kate Moss might have 17 advertising campaigns, but Kate Middleton has Prince William's heart. But that's not her only trump card -- Kate Middleton also was recently declared more beautiful than supermodel Kate Moss. In a poll conducted by Fox, in which 1000 British women were asked who was the greatest natural beauty today, Middleton came out on top. Other lovelies in the top five natural beauties included Charlotte Church, Claudia Schiffer, Catherine Zeta-Jones and finally Kate Moss.Francesca Davies, a spokeswoman for Fox, said that she hoped the poll would encourage women to feel beautiful naturally, without the help of cosmetic surgery.
Polls such as this one may not change the cultural perception of beautiful fakes like Pamela Anderson or Jessica Simpson, but hopefully Kate Middleton's example will make it easier for women to think they are beautiful just as they are.

If you feel beautiful without any alterations at all you are perceived that way.
Try it...it drives jealous women MAD! It's true because attention gets shifted to you and you don't even have to demand it! Just feel good about yourself and let the glow from within come out.....men can tell, children can tell, babies can tell....and other women, young and old alike can tell and be drawn to you....though some of that attention coming at you can be just disingenuious....that's the opportunity to learn other things about yourself and life.

Who in the world ever labeled Kate Moss as attractive?! Long legs and weighing 100 pounds doesn't automatically make you beautiful! She's actually kind of scary looking! And her boyfriend is even more hideous looking. If those two were to have kids they'd be the ugliest kids EVER!

you know some women are so hard on thierselves sometimes , its the worlds perception of what a woman should or should not look like but if you would take one day at a time and learn your beauty from inside , that is all that counts, who cares if your not a string bean or if your a whale, i personaly think woman and men should be looked at for what kind of person they are and not what they look like! I am no means the prettiest or the cutest crayon in the box but i know one thing i love myself for who i am and so does my friends and i dont believe weight has anything to do with it except the world makes us look like.

There's nothing fake about Jessica Simpson...frankly, I'm a little offended by that statement. Clearly, Pamela Anderson does have some very fake things about her. Jessica is all natural. Go look at her pictures from when she was a kid - she still had blonde hair and curves. Being brunette does not necessarily make someone "natural".

I don't think Kate Moss is even slightly attractive. She always looks like she needs a bath and a bite or two to eat to me. :)

Jessica simpson is a little fake, I mean she wasn't born with that tan ;)
Pam Anderson is a barbie doll wanna-be, ever see her without makeup?! YUCK! Middleton is running around without a fake tan or dyed hair or makeup or botox or fake boobs or a nose job or skimpy clothes and still looks better than those two.

To be a supermodel in this country all you have to do is be tall, significantly underweight and confident - all of which Kate Moss has. If you truly look at the people around you, most are as pretty, if not more so, than today's models. You simply don't take note of them in the same light because their not publicized. Look at pictures of Pamela Anderson before her cosmetics - very average - nothing special. Some women do have pure natural beauty and God bless them. Most of us feel more confident with the help of fashion and makeup and that's just as fine too. We should just learn to accept everyone regardless of looks and this whole world would be a much happier place and we wouldn't have to worry about our young daughters struggling with eating and self-image disorders.

Uh, Katie honey, did you say there is nothing fake about Jessica Simpson? (giggle)
The tan and the bleached hair? And wait, I remember hearing about some 'minor' face work.
Don't tell me that girl is a current natural blond, wake up hon. She may have had some mousy blond locks at about age 5, but that quickly darkened. And she did have her hair bleached at a young age like other youngsters (remember Jon Benet?) to prepare her for an entertainment career. She also has thick, plucked dark brown brows....not always, but it usually means bottle blonde.

If you honestly want to see natural beauty then check out Jada Pinckett Smith, Gabrielle Union, Queen Latiffa and Angela Basset, all over thirty years old and keeping it real. These are sisters who obviously would never get recognized in these type of articles, yet their beauty speaks for itself.

Poor Kate Moss!
To be considered ONLY the 5th most beautiful woman in England? How is Kate going to manage 5th place????
Oh, maybe with her beautiful daughter by her side, and her multi millions of dollars, she will be okay...

Whoa, people. Kate Middleton and Kate Moss are equally average-looking to me. Neither one is worthy of being praised OR bashed in my opinion (though that one comment about Kate Moss needing a bath was kind of funny). Natural beauties on my list are Catherine Zeta Jones, Natalie Portman, and Kiera Knightley (and I'm sick of people saying that Kiera is anorexic when it is clearly her genetics. Envious, insecure women really piss me off. Not to mention, too much weight is equally destructive to your body).

Are you kidding? Have you seen Jessica Simpson pictures before and after? She used to look TOTALLY different. She even admitted to getting collagen in her lips..they looked terrible. She's gotten her eyes lifted, her nose shaved and her whole face worked on!!!
Go to goodplasticsurgery.com The pics speak for themselves...

Beauty is an objective matter; I am glad the press is kind to Kate Middleton. I think she is very attractive and it doesn't hurt to be associated with the Royals. I think the media chooses who they want to be kind to and who they would like to mess with. So as much as I believe in natural beauty, my mother has emphasized that to me all along. If you are confident and fame does not matter to you, then it really doesn't matter what others think. But if you want to be in the public, I hope that the media, have mercy on you. Because they can distort what true beauty is by what they say. And some of the masses are pretty vulnerable to what they see on TV and on print.
