GO International taps Libertine

Late last week, Radar Online reported that the LA-based brand Libertine would be the next designing duo to create a collection for Target's GO International line. The capsule collection designed by Cindy Greene and Johnson Hartig will launch in July, but the clothes will only be available for two months. So far, Target hasn't released images of the collection, but to get an idea of what we might expect, you can check out some of Libertine's past designs here.
Libertine is not exactly the household name that Proenza Schouler is, but I honestly don't think the lower profile will stand in the way of raking in major sales. By now, Target's GO International has such a strong following that probably any designer pitched as a big deal by savvy marketers will likely enjoy sold-out success.
