Handbags that could hurt more than your wallet

British designer Giles Deacon's spring collection of Mulberry handbags gives new meaning to the phrase "killer bag." These bizarre handbags take the traditional handbag elements of leather, hardware and studs, only craft them in somewhat sinister-looking ways.

For instance, the key chain fob pictured in this post looks eerily similar to a flail. In fact, the resemblance is so striking that Harvey Nichols' head of press Joanna Jeffreys had her key chain confiscated by Eurostar security officials on her way to Paris Fashion Week. Even though Deacon insists the collection isn't meant to evoke weaponry, I think it's pretty obvious. Sometimes you have to call a flail a flail.
