After momentarily lending her image to St. John -- the company Fashionista.com calls "knitwear for Aspen vacation moms"' -- Angelina Jolie is a free agent. So which designer will next get to dress the world famous actress?

Alvin Valley is giving it a shot. The designer's show at Los Angeles Fashion Week has been created for Jolie -- with no prior agreement, only on the hope that she'll care. Inspired both by aviation style and Harriet Quimby, the first woman airplane pilot, Alvin is betting this new line will attract the star famous for giving designers an earful.

What would he do if he could dress Jolie? "I'd love to style her completely," the designer told Mark Malkin, "because I feel like her style is kind of all over. I think she should stick more with sexy suits and pants. I think she's sexier wearing that than a dress."

This is all presuming he can get the actress to notice that he's designing clothes for her in the first place.
