First looks at Bitten, Sarah Jessica Boring?

Pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker's fashion line, Bitten have hit the web. Fashionista has a few images from the line and asks the all important question, would you wear it? The line isn't bad, it's just boring, the sort of stuff you pick up on the cheap at Target or the Gap. It is completely wearable but utterly uninspired. The line makes H & M and Forever 21 look cutting edge. My question is, who is the target demographic here? The line looks like it is aimed at the young twentysomething. I was rather hoping that SJP would parlay her fashion cred into something a little edgier and perhaps a touch sophisticated and suited for a woman of her same age range. There is one cute belted black dress outfit that looks promising but the rest is a bit of a snore, go check out the line and let me know if you are smitten by Bitten.

I love Ms. Parkers new fashion line. Its hip, youthful, sexxy, chic and conservative. Most inportantly, her new line is affordable and versitile in size, style, color and patterns which gives real women with curves such as myself an induced self-esteem boost.

I just viewed some of the bitten line and I was just in London in March and I believe that the pieces that were shown are what women are adding to their wardrobes here in the US as well as europe. I think people who are looking for "Carrie Bradshaw's" should look more to the Stylist that put the looks together not the actress that wore them. The houndstooth coat is definately a must have as well as the Sailor inspired trouser. Pieces for your wardrobe not the whole wardrobe.

I can watch Sex and the City over and over because I love her. And now I love her even more. I hate it when you watch shows like Oprah and they put their so-called affordable designers on and everyone claps for the fact that you can buy a pair of jeans for $79, like we can all rush out and buy them since their so "inexpensive." Give me a break.
Now, SJP's line that is what is real world. YES!!! It's nice and it's affordable. And I'm so happy that someone has finally taken most of us into account when their coming up with pricing.

Tall ladies are having a real difficult time finding pants to fit. I am a size 4 and need a 35 to 36 inch inseam. Do you plan on adding tall size clothing to your line? It really would be a dream come true to all of us tall ladies.

Wollard has the BEST review of this line! It is disappointing for how basic and "boring" it turned out to be.
I was not at all impressed with the clothes that I saw on Oprah yesterday, and I thought that SJP seemed not to be too enthusiastic about the clothes, either. They are just not her (and they certainly are not Carrie Bradshaw, who would LAUGH at this stunt).
SJP made her name by wearing things that most of us cannot afford and inspiring only envy.
Like Samantha Jones said to her boyfriend Smith on S&tC: "At least wear [these designer] sunglasses. If you don't wear something that the kids cannot afford [on TRL], how will they know to look up to you?"
