Late last year, we reported that Australian supermodel Gemma Ward had plans to star in a feature-length film with Liv Tyler. Not to let Ward get all the glory for being the industry's only moon-faced crossover models, British it-girl LIly Cole has signed on to star in a remake of the classic film St. Trinian.

Cole will portray Polly in the dry wit comedy that focuses on an boarding school for unruly girls. Lily will be flanked by a number of British heavyweight actors including Colin Firth, Rupert Everett and Steven Fry. (What?!? No Hugh Grant? How could you possibly have a high-charged foppish comedy without dear Hugh?)

Filming has already begun on the picture, so by the time Fashion Week roll around again in September, Lily will be free to hit the catwalk.
