Anderson Cooper keeps his underpants on

When Anderson Cooper sits at the news desk, he's a probing, fast-paced t.v. journalist who expects nothing less than total disclosure from his guests. But what's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander. Because despite his silver fox playboy appeal, Cooper takes great pains to guard his personal life. (Remember when he finally admitted he was gay? Or wait, maybe he hasn't done that yet...) Anyway, Page Six reports that Cooper's fear of the ever-sneaky cell phone camera forces him to "reportedly showers in his underwear. Boxer briefs, to be exact."
Considering our culture's preoccupation with socialite crotch shots and celebrity sex tapes, I have to admit that even though I harbor a lingering crush on A.C. from his days on Channel 1 News, I'm awfully thankful I'll never have to see his junk on posted on the internet.

AC is a serious and competent journalist. Why must we probe into the is he or isn't he personal life and what difference would it make anyway? Isn't it more revelant gossip that the prudish first lady is a smoker(therefore addicted) and that she professes to be a born again? Seems addiction to anything is off limits to the christian right last I heard? Leave the up front and working people alone and go after the closet smoker

Understandable why the guy is paranoid about his personal life. He can't even shower in his underwear without you guys commenting on it. This bit of information is called "non-news" unworthy of any note.

OM Goodness! I do not blame Anderson Cooper at all for taking such precautions. Actually, I am very surprised he showers anywhere but home, work, or a friend's home. I hope AC is not gay, but if he is, that does not mean I wouldn't stop watching his show, because I think he is a great journalist and his show is just a bit different than the others. I think it is a smart move; and I am sure other celebrities do the same thing!

LOVE ANDERSON COOPER AS HE DOES HIS JOB WELL & LIVES TO SERVE THE BEST INTERESTS OF EVERYONE. SURE HE HAS HAD SORROW IN HIS LIFE BUT JUST KEEPS ON GOING . I WOULD BE SO PROUD IF HE WAS MY SON.

My husband and I watch Anderson as often as we can. He is one of the best. We do not believe the gossip about him. We would also call him son.

If he is showering at home who would snap this pic -- his boyfriend? And if he is showering in a gym I find that hard to believe since he has no muscularity to him. To the person that claimed that First Lady Laura Bush is born again -- please get your facts straight. Laura Bush has been a Methodist all of her life and has never claimed that she was born again. Yes she puffs a butt when she is stressed. If she wants to smoke that's her business. Strange how people have to bring the Bushes into everything even when they are talking about Anderson Cooper! Get help for your hatred.

Who cares !! Why can't we enjoy our celeberities and let them have a personal life off camera. We drive people to extremes that are not necessary if they only were left alone. I do not buy magazines and watch 'E' TV, but there seems to be an attitude that star news is right up there with real daily news. Anderson is good at what he does and that is all that should matter.

Subject: Anderson Cooper's junk?
Open discussion on the streets in Chelsea, NY is that A.C.'s piece is not long, but very thin...........and that he only shows it to latin boys from south of the American border. (Sounds logical...).

#1 Why would you make (Sue) such an ignorant comment as "hoping he's not gay" What difference could that possibly make to you? Just showing your bigoted opinion with the rest of the world. Personally I am not crazy about the guy himself, but have to admit he is a pro and good at what he does, but really what difference does it make? I usually try to contain myself when confronted with other people's stupidity and ignorance, but that was one I have to address. Keep it up, AC, and I mean the work, not "the junk" as another obvious phobic puts it. No wonder we are in such trouble with the rest of the world, with our own people turning against each other in such a trivial non-sensical and immature manner. Grow up.

AC is part of the downfall of CNN. He's overpaid and over rated. CNN used to be the first network to turn to for breaking news. Now, we get the nonsense about Anna Nicole et al. If he sticks around, he'll drag it down more. I miss Ted Turner operating CNN.
