Cassette tape wallets, because we all miss the 90s sometimes
Filed under: Accessories, Fashion
There's something that just isn't quite the same about making your friend a mix-CD, or a playlist on the computer. I miss cassette tapes. It's the only way you can force the listener to sit through the entire musical "experience" you've created, rather than letting them skip past the 10-minute, spacey jam track you thought would be bitchin' at the end of side 1. If you feel the same way, never fear -- we can all bask in a little nostalgia together with the cassette wallet.
Basically, it's a tape with the guts taken out, and replaced by zippered pouches for all your cards, cash, etc. As an added bonus, because each wallet is hand-made, you can pick which tape you want your wallet made from -- so you don't end up looking like geek with all your money in a Barry Manilow cassette.
It's $43, which seems a little pricey, but these are way cooler than some generic leather wallet. I say go for it.

The 90's?
You mean the 80's, right?
You realize that CDs had already come out in the mid-80's, right?
I bought my first CD in 1985, and owned my first CD-Walkman thing made by Technics that I carried on airplanes. What were you doing back then? Still fumbling with record albums?
