I'm never quite happy with any article of clothing -- especially when it comes to shoes. I always wish they were shaped differently, or that a certain part of the shoe a different color, or whatever.

Fortunately, some companies are letting you design your own. I found the Chuck Taylors customization site awhile back, and today I finally stumbled upon a similar site for Nikes, called NikeID.

Look around and you'll find almost all the shoes the company currently has on sale -- everything from basketball shoes, to cross-trainers, to stylish low-tops.

They don't exactly come cheap -- everything I saw was between $100 and $200 -- but Nikes aren't exactly inexpensive in the first place, and if you're really specific about what you're after, it might be worth the extra money.

Plus, this is great for high school athletes for are looking for shoes in their team colors.
