Sk*rt: Can you Digg it?
Let's face it, Digg -- the user-voted content resource -- is primarily geared towards dudes. Whether this is by design or by coincidence, the Digg community is nonetheless dominated by techo-males. Now I'm sure that there are women out there who care that "Dell quietly drops extended warranty support for Ubuntu" or that "3rd Party iPhone App SDK to Launch at WWDC?", but I certainly don't know them. Get my drift? For web wandering women -- a.k.a. any chick with a desk job -- who want to read about stuff they are interested in there is now sk*rt.
Sk*rt offers users the opportunity to submit stories for consideration by the style-minded tech-savvy community. Want to know about hip eco-friendly clothes? There's a sk*rt story on the topic. Or if you want some advice on buying yellow summer shoes, sk*rt is the place to go -- after you've gone here, of course!

*sigh* Another "OMG, techology is too complicated for us girls so let's talk about clothes and makeup" site. Wow, this is just what girls need. I mean, is it *that* hard to understand what "Dell quietly drops extended warranty support for Ubuntu" means? Really...

sounds like a good idea but begs the question what are women doing on the intranet when they should be in the kitchen?
