The hats belonging to fashion icon, Isabella Blow, won't just end up being thrown away. Blow, who died last month at the age of 48, was famous for the amazing hats made for her by milliner Philip Tracy. Vogue UK reports that Detmar Blow, Isabella's husband, will set up a foundation to look after the hats. He is looking into a variety of options including a museum dedicated to her collection of designer and couture clothing, shoes and hats. Many of the hats are currently part of an exhibit, "When Philip Met Isabella" which is currently on display in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Victoria and Albert Museum is being floated as a possible permanent home for the hats. A memorial for her is also planned for September 18 during London Fashion Week. Fashion is often an ephemeral business so it's nice to know that Isabella Blow's legacy of style will live on.
