Model Josie Maran, probably known best for her Maybelline ads, is launching her own eco-friendly cosmetics line. Maran becomes the latest model to clean up and go green (see Christy Turlington as an earlier example) as she reaches the twilight of her modeling years (the lovely lady is all of 29). Josie Maran Cosmetics is an organic and eco-friendly make-up line that will be sold at Barneys and online. The products will be made of non-toxic ingredients and will come in biodegradable packaging. The line will officially launch this September but you can follow Maran's exploits as she promotes the brand this summer on her new blog.
