Mandy Moore likes candy

Mandy Moore is in desperate need of a new stylist, because whoever let her out of the house in that tiny little bikini needs to be taken into a dark alley for a long and violent beating. It's not like Mandy is fat (although some would argue with me on that), but girlfriend certainly isn't skinny.

String bikinis need to be set aside for models, and people who are made of skin and bones; real women, like Mandy, need to cover that junk up in a tankini or if you want to get a little sun on that tummy -- a nice supportive halter style top paired with boy shorts would work. A visit to Mystic Tan wouldn't hurt either; fat rolls look best tanned rather than a shade of glowing white.

The real tragedy is the lack of makeup and her unkempt hair. Sure celebrities have the right to "let themselves go" a little, but geeze Mandy... you are promoting an album aren't you? Clean yourself up (for goodness' sake, there are photographers around).

Mandy Moore is currently rumored to be dating Nicole Richie's ex DJ AM, and if his dating history of Richie and some not-so-famous models are any indication of his taste, Mandy could be entering the celebrity skeleton club in a matter of months.

You have gotten so mean over the past few weeks that reading your blog entries is no longer enjoyable....if you want to be so mean about "celebs" why don't you start posting on perez hilton or someplace people go to for mean commentary on famous people. But to rip apart some normal sized woman for going to the beach in something that apparently offends you on a style blog is unnecessary.

It's catty posts like this, that make me want to boycott styledash. Mandy Moore is not fat! She is a normal woman with a normal figure, who has resisted the pressure to starve herself. I do not see any fat rolls. I see a non-emaciated, non-ribs sticking out tummy. As for the tanning comment, she is hardly white. She looks to be a normal, healthy color. She's also laying on a beach. Who cares what her hair looks like and I don't know too many women who go to the beach in full makeup. I think Mandy Moore is refreshingly normal and not like all these tanned, blonde, stick figure clones out there. Can we say "real woman". Give me a break!

I completley agree with what is posted above. I look like that in a swimsuit, takini OR string, and i'm a size four. I thought style dash was better than this "omg I can't believe mandy moore is a real human being" crap. This blog is SUPPOSED to be about fashion. Grow up.

I don't want to read about how you think Mandy Moore is fat or Jessica Simpson looks like a carrot. Sure youre entitled to your own opinion but petty critique of celebs appearances i can make on my own. Besides these are people, ableit with ridiculous incomes and devilish good looks, but hollywood does enough to make the world image concious to the point of paranoia and youre certainly not helping. I used to adore styledash. Please bring back the style and glamour and leave posts like this in your head.

It was a real bummer to see something so stupid and snarky posted on a site I otherwise enjoy. I'll be the first to say that fat rolls are not conducive to good fashion, but such comments do not apply to a strikingly average build like Mandy Moore's. I mean, really, no way to make women feel great about themselves by writing like leaving the house without a 3-hour hair/makeup ritual is a cardinal sin-- even if you're going to the damn beach. What a super lame post.

Why don't you post a full body picture of yourself on here and let the readers take shots at you Little Miss Perfect....that is, if you can take it. We will be sure to point out all of your flaws, if you are brave enough to not PhotoShop it first.

look. this is what is wrong with america. that people think she is normal sized. shes fat. look at her tummy. its rolls. omg this is gross. make me want to throw my dinner up. I think who ever wrote this is doing a great job in looking out for americas health. fat makes you prone to many diseases, so if looking out for your health is bad then consider us bad people. when i go out and i see people eating fast food or who are just fat i let them know. i call them fat.

I think Mandy looks great! I am confused with the Media and Hollywood. On one hand if you are Nicole Richie skinny, everyone is up in arms about girls starving themselves. On the other hand, if you have a healthy, NORMAL body like Mandy, she is fat! What is correct...too skinny or just a little curvy?? I look just about like Mandy and I wish I was as confident as her in a string bikini. I would be curious what YOU look like in a bikini, make sure your hands are clean before you start pointing fingers!!!

OMG. okay i think that it's horrible how you attack celebs like that! I actually feel sorry for famous people because they cant go out in a string bikini without someone making fun of them! Gahh. Do u have such low self asteem you have to go around calling regular, fabulous, beautiful women like Mandy fat?? Because just like the others said, that is offending ALL of us.

I thought we were past this! It's people like you, with comments such as yours, that made anorexia and bulimea a "lifestyle" for many impressionistic girls with image problems!
I applaud Mandy Moore for her down to earth values and healthy body!
You might want to try some counseling so you can once again be healthy as well.

I THINK THAT MANDY MOORE LOOKS GREAT. SHE LOOKS HEALTHY AND IS NOT STARVING HER SELF. IT IS PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE COMMENTS ABOUT PEOPLE BEING TO FAT, THAT IS DESTROYING OUR YOUTH TODAY. That is so mean. I think Mandy Moore is the kind of woman young girls should look up to, she is one of the few actresses/singers who has the shape of a real woman and isn't afraid to hide it. I think comments like yours are the reason that so many Hollywood actresses and singers are struggling with anerxia and bulimia, and then when they are too skinny you write more crap about them which can cause them to become even more confused about what you really want them to look like.

The position she is in - sitting up like that - and the angle of the camera, would make anyone look "FAT." She's a normal girl. It's too bad she isn't tanning herself and getting leathery, wrinkly skin. And a shame she isn't starving herself and spending every moment of her life primping for the camera. Please. She's just living her life, relaxing on the beach, being a NORMAL HUMAN BEING. There is nothing wrong with her.
