StyleFoul: Liza Minnelli's barely there pants

Liza (with a Z!) Minnelli recently graced the red carpet at the Hairspray premiere, bringing all of her musical theatre-y glory with her. Unfortunately, her choice of outfit was less than glorious and looked like something that should have been left backstage.

Her pants, if you can really even use that word, look like... loose pantyhose? I don't even know what call that sheer mess, honestly. All I know is that we're seeing way too much. I mean, granted, at age 61, Liza has some pretty killer pins, souvenirs from years and years of high-kicks and Fosse, but those pants would look tragic on anyone of any age. Couldn't she have worn a nice skirt instead? Some well-fitted, fully opaque trousers?

And don't think too much about where she's keeping her phone and lipstick... Your brain might explode.

Hopefully, that's a picture of her pointing out the thief that stole her pants. Perhaps the robbery happened so fast, she had no choice but to grab some sheer window treatments in the name of modesty.

Liza's shape looks great. My hat's off to her. I adore her mother, Judy Garland and have a tape of hers I've played every day for the last ten years (know every single song by heart). Liza's a year younger than me . . . and I guess I can really relate to her. I know Cher has revealed more than Liza has and definitely Janet Jackson for sure. I'm glad Liza lost all that weight. I look like what she used to. Now I'm inspired to lose this extra baggage.

Come on it's Liza Minnelli... see through pants or not - it's LIZA - she's fabulous like a magnificent Drag Queen who doesn't really give a crap about what anyone thinks and is who she is! She rocks - see through pants and all. Damn I hope my legs look THAT good at 61!

Hats off to Liza! She has the gams!

Her outfit is preferable to viewing the wonderrful pink spandex (tights, leggings??) thinly stretched over an obese women's backside that I can see the print of puppy dogs on her underpants, and the cellulite dimples on her backside, and legs..and we won't even mention the top half of her outfit, while I am grocery shopping..

Or the great idea that skin is in... so everyone is supposed to wear shirts that show the rolls hanging over their jeans.. and not just off to the sides, but over the front and back as well... YUM..

and what seems to never end... the bright thong sitting high above the back rise of jeans... or those that do not know how to wear them properly.. wearing them too low with their trousers... that is always a great look too!

Personnally, I would rather look at Liza's outfit.

It certainly makes for a short shopping trip!

She looks GREAT!!! Give the kid a break -- look at all her pain and history,and be proud and pleased that she's able to come back out and play!!! She is entertainment personified, and you must be a jealous heifer that can't stand competition!
