Paris Hilton wants to sell you shoes

Just in case Paris Hilton hasn't invaded every other part of your life (sportswear, watches, fragrance, every media outlet in the entire world), you'll now have yet another way to connect to the ex-con -- she'll be designing your shoes.The celebutant is teaming up with Antebi Group, a footwear manufacturing company, to create a line of high-end shoes that meet "the needs for the fashion-forward woman." Expect to see platforms, stilettos, wedges and more in stores as early as January or February of next year.
There will also be a more sporty range -- presumably because, as Paris has obviously discovered, it's really hard to drive drunk in fancy footwear.

What's next? Bungee jumping? Is she gonna design makeup now, too? Honey, you've gone over the edge. Why can't you do something more valuable with your time, like volunteer in a soup kitchen or homeless shelter? People see you as an idol, but I see you as a celebrity gone bad.

People! You fail to understand that no one is perfect! Paris Hilton is a human being. Hate the problem not the person. Everyone has issues, some greater than the next person. So what, she went to jail. You do the crime , you do the time! And ...............never hate someone who is striving to better. The girl knows how to make money!

You guys don't undertsnad the fact that she's just another person. You guys have made plenty of mistakes, right? well, think about having publisity on your backall about it 24/7 and for every second of your life someone is judging you by that one mistake. sure she made some numerous mistakes. but she's human and you can't change that. she can't be as bad as everyone thinks she is.

Apparently you two don't understand that Paris wasn't exactly all too keen on serving time for her mistakes. Don't get me wrong, I know most normal humans don't exactly love the idea of going to prison, but the fact that she threw a tantrum about it and tried to say "Oh, I am a celebrity, I can't go to jail" just proves that SOME celebrities are better off in the grinder. Maybe if Paris could have been an adult about the entire situation, admitted that she made a mistake and needed to serve her punishment, then I wouldn't be so completely against her. Everyone makes mistakes - at least some people have the decency to own up to them.

If there's anything Paris knows about, it's shoes.
It's just logical that she would design them. I'd wear shoes by her.
Although she's on everything else, have you noticed she's NEVER been on a "worst-dressed" list?
That's gotta count for something.

YES, everyone makes mistakes and I agree with Natalie about her comment. NO ONE is PERFECT. Let the one who made NO mistake "cast the first stone". We know this girl. She was at a school where we worked. She is not as bad as people think. Whoever speaks ill of people, they themselves have something to shed of ill-doing!!! The writer who wrote about Paris being an ex-con needs to smarten up himself. Paris will grow, she's only 24 years old right now. Some people need and bloom differently at different times. Lets see what is produced in the coming years. I'll bet you will be pleasantly surprised. Rich or not . . .

Sure, Paris did complain and didn't want to go to jail, but who wouldn't? Its not like she denied doing what she did, she was probably just afraid and wasn't sure of what would happen. I think it's great she's trying to do work after all of that. She's working for her money now and is trying to busy herself. It's not like she's snorting coke and going in, out and back into rehab again.

I think it is time to just simply ignore her. Less attention either positive or negative would be appropriate now. I do not think she is worthy of admiration or hate, but simply of contempt.
