Human teeth jewelry
So your child has finally reached the age when he or she is starting to lose some teeth. Soon the Tooth Fairy will be on her way to take that tooth off into magic land, where she apparently can exchange it for cash. Great! But what do the magical fairy people do with all those teeth?
In all seriousness, someone has to get rid of them. And, rather than throw the teeth in the garbage or save them in a little jar as a memory of childhood, some people in China are using those chompers to make jewelry.
What do we think? Cute? Funky? A good way for dentists to make a little money on the side? Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead accessorizing with human body parts, but -- especially after that whole Angelina Jolie veil of blood thing a few years ago -- I'm sure some of you could get away with it.

Keep the teeth and give me a gemstone to commemorate the events. I never understood wearing teeth. Usually shark teeth would be what I would refer to as tooth jewelry hanging around tourist's neck on a beach somewhere in the tropics but now wearing human teeth. I just think it’s weird and not pretty like a sparkling gem which brings an elegance to an ensemble.

Those teeth in the photos are not baby teeth, those are probably wisdom teeth. Not my style, and I'm a dentist.
