Labor Day is coming up, which means summer is almost over -- bummer! It's the time of year when we need to work to keep the fun alive for as possible, before sinking into yet another long, dark, dreary fall and winter.

That's why I highly recommend these wedges from Angeline Tournier -- complete with the Sunday comics.

Normally I think gimmicky stuff like this is stupid and/or for high school students only, but a) everyone loves wedges, and b) this is so kitschy that it's actually kind of cute. Plus, practically anything that elicits a smile is golden for the next month or so.

Although a word of caution: if you were these after your city has slumped into seasonal depression, everyone will hate you like that chirpy girl in Office Space who keeps asking Peter, Michael and Samir if they have "a case of the Mondays."
