Is this outfit too sexy for air travel?

Word to the wise: dress like a grandma if you want to fly Southwest Airlines. At least that seems to be the new company policy, after a customer service supervisor nearly removed Kyla Ebbert from a flight because he thought the college student's clothing was "offensive."
Granted, this isn't the best-looking outfit I've ever seen, but it's not that bad -- and it's certainly not that revealing. However, when the Ebbert asked the surly Southwest rep what was so wrong with ensemble, the snarky fashion fascist simply replied, "The whole thing."
Clearly, the clothing isn't the problem, so my theory is that the overzealous Southwest rep has deemed himself Fashion Police of the Skies, or simply thinks attractive blond women are some kind of threat to national security.

I don't know if she should have been threatened with removal, but what's wrong with a skirt/dress that at least approaches the knees when sitting?

I agree, simply looking like a hooker is not a crime.

I'm not sure an airline employee should have made this call
either,
but I think the outfit was a little more revealing than the young
lady showed in still shots and in t.v. interviews. The top was down
much lower and the skirt was up much higher before she made
"adjustments". Actually, if you watch the video of the morning show,
you will see a great shot of her underwear as she is sitting down next
to Matt Lauer. Thankfully she was wearing underwear! Again, I don't
know about whether it was appropriate for an airplane but it sure did
give the world a good look at her goods.

Who flys an hour away just to go to a doctor's appointment? Boobjob consultation, perhaps? Yeah..I thought so..she works at Hooters..might as well start really looking the part..

When she woke up that morning and decided that the most comfortable thing to wear on an airplane is a skirt that barly covers your butt and leaves your crotch wide open(unless she crosses her legs), I feel she put herself up for this type of censorship. I would be offended if I had to sit next to her, weather I was by myself or with my family. I mean really, if I had my johnson covered up only by a bandaid, I would hope someone out there in the world would have the guts to do the right thing and loving ask for me to get some real clothes on.

I think there how someone dresses is their personal prefrence! I think the employee should be fired! He/ She over stepped her position, she should've been passing out pretzels & pillows for the people on the plain that PAID to fly & also pay his/her salary.

So like if Brittney Spears can get on stage with her getup why can't this broad where what she did? Just because you're on a plane? Crazy shite this world is turning into.

I'm so pleased with Southwest for trying to maintain a standard of decency. Surely this is not the worst outfit but it's not far behind. Families are flying, kids are curious and asking questions. The strength lies in the family, building the family unit and keeping the foundation strong. For this reason Obama (whom I'm not a supporter) was not happy about his endorsement from a certain young girl. Some of us respect ourselves and to me the way you dress reflects that.

This is ludicrous and this kid should see a lawyer. I have seen far worse on Southwest that didn't even get a stare. This customer service agent should have his ass fired.

There is nothing wrong with the way this kid looks and this customer service rep has to be as queer as a $3 bill. I would fire the clown myself.
