Assault in style. Hello Kitty style
Filed under: Accessories, CELEBRITY STYLE, Fashion, Celebrity

Let me make one thing clear: I am against weapons. I won't look at or touch the things ... unless they are Hello Kitty.
I discovered this wonderful weapon on ThisNext.com and I just have to have it (for what reason I do not know). This adorable assault rifle will only set you back a mere $1,072.95! What a bargain.
Of course you aren't a Hello Kitty fan there are plenty of options you for you in adorable weaponry like: a My Little Pony carbine, a Care Bears bullet proof vest, Paris Hilton handcuffs, or Martha Stewart mine.
Harming others has never been so fun. I actually think the website that this gun is sold (GlamGuns.com) is just one glamorous joke, as I tried to order myself the rifle and I was directed to a book on Amazon.com. I suppose I will have to direct my violent tendencies back to my words instead of weapons.

It is a bad decision to try to paint weapons that they are a toy. As a strong gun owners rights advocate, I do not like toy guns. I beleive that they teach our children that it is ok to point any gun at another human being during a game of "cops and robbers" or cowboys and indians". Guns are dangerous and are made to kill and break things. They are useful tools in our society and must our rights to carry them must be protected, not made light of. Remember, people kill people, not the gun.

$1072 for a beat up, shot out,probably 40+ yr. old AK ???
they MUST be joking !........these rifles sell for $350 at any pawnshop in America. BTW, IF the paint is clogging the exhaust ports, this thing can and will blow up in your face.
I'm a retired gunsmith and know what i'm saying.

Yes, it's a joke. It says across the bottom that it's a joke. Why is this an AOL headline?

People! Read the disclaimer on the bottom of the page, it's a gag page!! Everybody is quick to take everything so seriously. Does anybody remember what a joke is anymore? And so what if this was real? Isn't that what parents are for? To guide and supervise what your children do, buy, watch, etc. If there is a violent toy or video game, DON'T BUY IT and explain why instead of blaming everyone else. If you kid watches too much tv, TURN IT OFF! If your child eats too much junk food, DON'T BUY IT! It's not like they drive themselves to McDonalds and buy fatty Happy Meals with their money. Don't blame McDonalds, blame yourself. The world is coming to an end because parents these days don't assume any responsibility into raising their kids properly and that is why everyone is so screwed up! We tell the government to step in and take care of everything for us but then we complain that they're telling us how to raise our kids and live our lives. People, stop taking stupid things like this so seriously. Laugh it off and go raise your children properly!

Although a gag site, the weapon owners rights advocates have a good point. Toy guns do have a dangerous side. And the Parents' Responsibility people are also right. It is up to the parents to teach right from wrong. However, this site is still funny to look at! It is definitely aimed at people who want a good laugh about "girly'd up guns" which I sure did!

This isn't the only "adult" Hello Kitty toy I've seen. My friend purchased a Hello Kitty vibrator about five years ago. Maybe there is a connection between sexual abuse and this "toy."

1, it's Photoshopped. I can tell by the pixels, because I have seen many Photoshops in my time.
2, by the position of the rivets on the side of the stamped receiver, it looks like the base gun is a converted Russian "Saiga" hunting rifle with military-style furniture on it, possibly one of the "Vepr" line imported by Robinson Armaments until recently. Depending on the caliber and who did the work, we're talking $400-$700 here. Incidentally everything is new production on this, no 40-year-old parts here.
3, JESUS CHRIST, PEOPLE, IT'S A GAG. Otherwise Sanrio's lawyers would be on these people already. READ THE FINE PRINT AT THE BOTTOM. Jesus. Are you stupid?

I tried to buy a "My Little Carbine" but when I tried to checkout it took me to a site that sells books. Some people need to get a sense of humor in todays world you need one. I wouldn't suggest allowing your children to see that site.

If you would have known. Hello Kitty is a Japanese cartoon show in which shows a lot of gore and violence. Here in America, people think Hello Kitty is supposed to be adorable and cute.........way to have this epiphany Lauren

You have as little brains as you will someday have money. AK-47s are cheap! If you pay a cent over $350.00, your an idiot! You could print out your own Kitty decals!

every gun I own will kill, even my air gun. every kid should be taught this as my children know that if they see a firearm, IT IS LOADED! They know this because this is the rule at my home. I find the add very funny and I will show it to everyone I know.

I am not against guns but it is down right stupid that some one could even think of this. Hello Kitty is for little girls. Not for people who think of this BS!!!!
