Uggs for men? Ugh.

In the not too distant past, all the fashionistas were running around in Uggs. The Scandinavian space boots -- sure they're warm, comfortable, and whatever -- but this is 2007. How much time do you really spend outdoors? Besides, even if you do live in some frozen tundra, it's not like you don't have options.

But what about men? Should they be allowed to adorn these fashion disasters? That's the question they're asking at See Jack Shop today -- and before you get the wrong idea, the answer is no. Seriously guys, by putting on these boots you're telling the world that you like to dress like a second grader.

This season is all about dressing like a grown-up, so do yourself a favor, and get a pair of boots that make you look like a man.

FORGET UGGS!! WHAT ABOUT FLIP-FLOPS? WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE GORGEOUS LOAFERS GUYS USED TO WEAR WITH JEANS? FLIP FLOPS ARE STRICTLY BEACH-WEAR - PERIOD. IT SEEMS GUYS HAVE NO INTEREST IN LOOKING GREAT THESE DAYS. THE GIRLS KNOCK THEMSELVES OUT TO BE ATTRACTIVE AND THE GUYS LOOK UGLY, UNSHAVEN, UNCLEAN AND PLAIN DISGUSTING. BULL! Who made you the style King. I wear these for two reasons .. One I have Diabetes and the "soft" is advantageous. TWO - I like the feel and look and to hell with heavy boots to look like a man. I am 6' 230 lbs and no one will say a word to me about them I guarantee.
Such dribel online these days. Yet I waste my time replying to a flipcake about UGGS!

Let's face it- iddy biddy SPEEDOS and FANNY PACKS are the REAL deal breakers. If any man wears those out of the house..it's OBVIOUS you don't have a REAL friend in this whole world... or they would've barracaded the door before they let you out.

Uggs are Australian and not Scandanavian and this Morgan fashionbitcha is clueless on other counts. I've been wearing Uggs for over 20 years...and so have a bunch of my surf buddies. There's nothing better to slide on after peeling off your wet suit and rinsing off the sand. Fleece is one of the real remarkable products of the universe - keeps ya warm and keeps ya cool...

Who gives a sh*t what they look like - they work.

No truer words have ever been written than yours.
That is my biggest complaint, sloppy dressed men with jeans that have not seen the washing machine for a week. The girls get dolled up to open there door to a slob. No thanks, I like mine clean cut. Look at all the popular news reporters, ONLY the clean cut once have success. and that applies to my life. Get cleaned up, wash your pants and shirt and bummy

They're great for around the house but in my opinion wearing Uggs outside, to the store, etc. is just plain wrong anyway. Male OR Female. Stupid look.

I totaly agree with the statement.
Girls get cleaned up, dolled up, and HE comes in dirty shoes, the pants have not seen washing for a week, shirt the same.
Clean cut is the way to success in any facet of life.

Sandra- I dont know what planet you are living on but there is NOTHING sexier than a guy in a nice pair of relaxed jeans, t-shirt & flip flops with a scruffy rugged manly man five o'clock shadow now that is soo hot and they look like men and not prissy little boys

I don't care weather men wear uggs or not really.. i read this and couldn't help but to think back this summer.. it was like THE hottest day of summer and Me and Hubby were taking the kids to the zoo.. and we were checking out a polar bear and i looked over and this chick was dressed in a tiny pair of shorts butt hanging out. tiny shirt belly all hanging out.... and a pair of Uggs.. it really took alot to not laugh in her face.. anyway kinda off topic but just thought i'd share..

I'm a straight man, and I have a couple pairs of Uggs. They are very comfy, nice and toasty when it's cold outside. Uggs and jeans make for some comfy winter outings as long as it's not in wet snow (then the Sorels get broken out). I've actually gotten many compliments from friends, family, co-workers and strangers, and not one criticism in the 4+ winters I've had them.
