Can Posh Spice make Ellen look decent?

All the well-dressed members of Ellen DeGeneres' talk show audience got to see a Spice Girl up close and personal this week. Victoria Beckham was on the program to talk about moving to the US, the reunion tour -- and, of course, to give Ellen a makeover!

Not that I don't think Ellen is awesome, but let's honest: she could use a few tips on how to look like she didn't dress in the dark every morning.

Unfortunately the only real changes Posh made to Ellen's look were giving her some big 'ol sunglasses and a pair of ultra-high heels. But even though Victoria didn't completely overhaul her wardrobe, the segment was totally worth it just to watch Ellen awkwardly stumble around in stilettos. Hysterical!

While Ellens style is not my taste, it is still Ellens stlye. I think she should keep it. She is unique and confident enough to not need your approval.

I have to admit this post pissed me off a bit--perhaps because I'm about Ellen's age, share her "orientation" and think she looks great.

Far better than I do.

And far better than a lot of the anorexic fashion-victim celebrities out there that the media think look hot.

(And Jonathon--you try walking around in stiletto's for a few hours sometime & we'll talk!)

I agree with the comments above. Ellen has her own unique, signature style, and I think that's part of what makes her who she is. She has become increasingly popular by being her own funny self, not by conforming to what everyone else wears or acts like in Hollywood. Why would you want her to conform to the brainless lemmings that ruin Hollywood? She doesn’t have no sense of style, she is a far cry from a fashion disaster. She just prefers a more casual, down to earth look which makes her more relatable than say some freakish looking anorexic plastic creep like Victoria Beckham. The only thing that bothers me about Ellen is why she lets these losers on her show. Maybe she should’ve give Victoria a makeover so she doesn’t look so constipated.

Ellen has her style and it suits her fine. Later in years, Posh and others who wear those extremely high heeled shoes will suffer feet problems.

wow, this story was offensive.

ellen isn't a bad dresser at all.
she merely dresses in accordance to her personality.
just because she doesn't dress highly femme like victoria beckham,
it doesn't make her a fashion victim.

in fact, i think "posh's" style is rather played out and ordinary if you ask me. ellen should make her over. that would be interesting.

Ohhhh ma gaaaah? An Ellen makeover??? Would one make-over the Mona Lisa? Would one put stiletto's on the Statue of Liberty?
And who would dare dress down the Qaaaaaaweeen of England? Or arm the Venus de Milo, perhaps?

Oh how fun to see Mz. E, all Hollywooded out. How's 'bout some extensions? Or false eyelashes, and while we are on the subject of falsies==never mind
Ahh, nerts, just leave this fine funny lady alone. Her style is unique why fix something that is most assuredly not broken?

Now if someone could or would be willing to tackle a veritable style disaster, Hey Posh, go after Anne Culter-hate such as hers is never attractive nor in style!!! ----------->

I think everyone has there own style. Do I wish Ellen dressed a little more "girlie"? Maybe...but its not her style and it doesn't make her any less of a person or a bad talk show host. Her "orientation" shouldn't have anything to do with how she dresses. Its the clothes she is most comfortable in and she wears it. Be honest...how many of us are most comfortable in jeans, tennis shoes and a sweatshirt but don't wear it? I think she's great!

ELLEN DOES NOT NEED A MAKE OVER. She is cute and unique the way she is now. You don't fix anything if it is not broken. It is the industry that needs a make over. The models look super gorgous only because they must maintain that look since day one on the job. Otherwise they would be out of work. My wife looks beautiful and hardly uses make up. I just bet if there were a national poll for men's opinions, I would not be surprised if about 80 to 90 percent of the male population would agree that the majority of women do not need a make over.

When i saw the headline, i wanted to see the pics, not because i dont like Ellen the way she is, but because she's had this style for so long and i thought it would be fun to see her in something different. That doesnt mean we dont love her just as she is! She IS a woman after all, and we women like to change up our styles once in awhile...

Wow...and we wonder why we still have problems with anorexia bulemia? Ellen is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! Posh Spice (Becham ) may make your mouth water due to the help of make-up, starving herself & possibly extreme diets ....and yes even plastic surgery. Ellen is such a turn on because her style is not fake. If i had my choice of Ellen or any other female (especially from Holly-fake-wood) ...mmmhhh it would be Ellen every time. The lady has class & style! must have been a male writing this stupid blog.

PEOPLE!! Lighten up!!! Ellen is a comedian and she loves to make fun of herself and that is one of many reasons she is so likeable. You dont think this was Ellens idea to make for a very humorous and fun show. She knows Posh and her are at the 2 extremes of fasion so the bit was Ellen being a comic genious!! COMEDY IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE TAKEN SO SERIOUS PEOPLE!! Lighten up and enjoy the skit for what it was "FUNNY AS HELL"

Ellen is adorable just the way she is!

She has pretty blue eyes, a cute hair cut and a fantastic personality.

Not everyone has to be all foofy and girly.
