Tried Spanx? Look thinner in these 'Power Panties'

Embarrassed about your figure but too lazy to do anything about it? Dying to wear that ultra-tight new dress but don't have the courage to avoid panty lines by going commando? Well ladies, this is the product you've been looking for.
Introducing Spanx, the company launched back in 1998, was discovered by Oprah in 2002, and has been on a path to success ever since. Essentially a girdle, these ultra-undergarments suck in your wobbly parts -- so you don't have to. If you're looking for a way to look smoother and slimmer this season in spite of those holiday cookies, this is it.
However, a word of caution. If you're planning on getting any action at the office holiday party this year, I'd leave the Spanx at home. There's nothing less sexy than taking off a woman's dress only to discover she's been hiding her other half under some taut spandex.

I would also work on why you are lose and jiggly... It is hard this time of year, buy I try to do certain things so that I don't gain more than a pound or two with the too much drinking (boy do I love my wine) and nibbling I do.
I swear by drinking plenty of water, avoiding carb laden meals in the evening and trying to get exercise whenever you can. I wear smartsole insoles http://www.smartsole.com
to increase the calories I burn with every step. It also tones muscles. I also try to wear a pedometer to keep track of miles and try to do 10,000 steps every day.

I think I've seen your postings before. How many miles is 10k steps? How is your program working for you? Is it weight loss or maintenance? Do you mind saying your size?

Wouldn't it be fun if they showed this spanx stuff on a model who actually needs it rather than that skinny stick? Then we'd see how it works, or not

I can't believe an attempt is being made to lure women back in to those neanderthal girdles. A girdle by any other name is still a girdle. That said, I ordered a Spanx bra a few years ago and was horrified at what arrived in the mail. This thing was ugly, difficult to put on, and very unflattering under clothing. It looked like something that had been pulled out of the trash, and that's exactly where it went - in the trash.

I bought 2 different types of Spanx, according to their size chart, and neither one fits. I am not an over weight woman, I was hoping to eliminate the panty line, and like Spanx advertises, have an over-all smooth look. They might work if I could get them on.

If I ever hooked up with a girl that had this on her at the time I seriously would just get up and leave...really...

Actually , I kind of think spanx and the like are sexy on a woman skinny or not. But then again I have always had a bit of a lingerie fetish. From satin and silk draped to spandex and boned corsettes. So pay no heed to the advice not to wear them if you plan on playing. After all it is the holiday season ,,, and men enjoy unwrapping presents too.

Getting them on is one thing, going to the bathroom is another! They work just fine until you have to pee. By the time I got them off the first time I was sweating. I think they should have an open seam so as to make that easier...

Show us a fatter women that actually needs to control the jiggle in the picture, not a skinny stick women that has no need for this product. These companies actually think we are that stupid, what about the thunder thighs that will bulge out from around the leg bands and the muffin top at the waist band, what happens to that part of your body? Lets see a realistic picture please.

I love spanx and wear them always...it gives a great line under clothing.
I buy at BareNecessites.com (which has great selection and pricing) through an online shopping mall that gives me between 5-55% back in cash on all my purchases. There are over 1000 stores including Bare Necessities, Sephora, Apple, The Gap, Target (great for soo much), Macy's. I also wait for sales so I get my cash back and the lowest price
http://www.dailyoink.com The site is ugly, but well worth it.

I think the only cool thing about Spanx is the name. Truly. But if you want to be spanked, I think prettier panties are perfect.

I'm 149 lbs, 5'2 and don't really like the spanz. Too hard to get on and off.
But Lipo in a box, sold on HSN feels and looks like pantyhose and works even better.
I can't believe how it makes clothes fit smoothly, gets rid of love handles, minimizes the thighs.
I plan on getting on a serious exercise routine, but in the interim this is the way for me to go!

I love my Spanx!!!! I lost a lot of weight with zylenebody- over 40 pounds!!! ( http://www.zylenebody.com) but I am getting older and need the spanx to hold all those jiggles in place that I still have that no exercise will get rid of. I love my spanx - I dont have the constraints of my mothers girdle from the 50s.
Love Spanx!!!

I tried Spanx and it's uncomfortable, it itches. Also they're a problem if you must use the bathroom - it takes to long to pull it back up, worse than control pantyhose.
My man likes my curves ... what was I thinking?
