I know being masculine is back in fashion after that whole "metrosexual" thing. But just because it's OK to act like a dude doesn't mean you can dress like a slob in public.

Take Johnny Depp's new construction worker look. This is fine if you're, I don't know, building something, but somehow I'm not sure it quite goes with his expertly-tailored, absurdly expensive suit. Let's just hope it's mud, and not something worse.

Seriously, where the hell was he before the Sweeney Todd premiere (where this photograph was taken) -- walking through through a cow patch? Better yet, you decide.

It's a well-known fact (if you're a Depp fan) that this is Johnny's favorite pair of shoes. He wears them all the time, including his visits on the Tonight Show, Oprah and any time he has a scheduled appearance. So he didn't step in anything 'before' the premiere. He stepped OUT in style - his personal style. All Depp fans know this and are glad to see he hasn't changed - he's still the Johnny we all know and love! xoxo Becca

Very well put! Any fan of Johnny knows he's had these boots for years and years and he is not compromising his coolness to make it on anyone's best dressed list, he's both cool and hot and that is not easy to come by!

Here here! You can always spot a fellow fan by their knowledge of his favorite boots. Perhaps Jonathon Morgan should watch his Inside the Actor's Studio with James Lipton, he'd have a little more insite before he writes.

Johnny is hot- he is one of the only people that can pull off any look like that. It shows that he doesn't want to fit in the Hollywood image, which is good. Besides, who spends their time poking through pictures of star's lives? They have their own life, and so do you! This is a true Johnny Depp look.

Who cares what he's wearing??? I'd tear off all his clothing anyway...it's just the covering to the real prize inside! All you other guys are just haters anyway who's private parts shrink when you see a real sexy man who isn't afraid to flaunt it! You said it Becca. Whatever idiot wrote that article should be ashamed to make fun of his boots, which he has had for at least two decades, and the reason why they look like they do. He even wore them on Inside the Actor's Studio. And hey, Jonathon Morgan, It's nothing ON the boots, it's called WEAR and TEAR. OF course, most people nowadays buy new things so often that they don't know what that phrase means, except for the poor, and those with blue collar jobs. Hey Morgan, you're just jealous, you loser.

That is Johnny being Johnny and every Depp lover knows it. He doesn't conform to what society and hollywood think and like someone said before-those are his favorite pair of shoes and he wears them everywhere. And just like another person points out-the shoes don't matter because I-just like most of the women..and even some men out there...would rip his clothes off to get to the "prize inside" as it was put.
