Shoes of the Day: Fluevog Hildegard Boot

Ever since I picked up my first pair of Fluevogs last spring, I've become a confirmed addict. To quote my friend Suzie, "There are no other shoes than Fluevogs." Every pair of Fluevogs I own is amazingly comfortable, decidedly well-made and incredibly unique and good looking. My footwear often gets noticed by other devotees: "Are those Fluevogs?" they ask. I nod yes with a knowing smile. The newest pair of Fluevogs on my must-have lust list are these military inspired knee high leather boots, dubbed the Hildegard. I love the oversized lace up detail, and my favorites are the boots in this rich avocado green leather, though they also come in a more practical black. I think the avocado color would look amazing with a chocolate brown skirt or khaki colored shirt dress.
