Victoria Beckham gets naked for cancer
Filed under: CELEBRITY STYLE, Fashion, Celebrity, Stylish Living
What's the easiest way for a celebrity to bring attention to a worthy cause? They could give impassioned, intelligent speeches, or work with politicians to make changes in public policy -- but it'd be way easier (and more effective) if they just took their clothes off. That's the approach Victoria Beckham took when she wanted to raise awareness about skin cancer. She appears sans clothing on this "Protect the skin you're in" t-shirt, available at Marc Jacobs stores this week (and looks pretty darn good, if I do say so myself).
Posh isn't the only celeb who's adorned the Marc Jacobs cancer-fighting nudie tees. Previous models include Dita von Teese, Naomi Campbell, Winona Ryder and Julianne Moore.
For only about $35, you get a naked Posh t-shirt and help in the fight against cancer? Sounds like a bargain to me.

Victoria there is no reason for you to get naked to fight for cancer supposedly that is. It is not enough you prance around in half naked clothing for the world to see. Whatever happened to sophistication ? I guess you never had any to be honest. What will your two younger sons think of you when they see their mother selling off her body? Honestly porno stars sell their body for money; what has made you different in doing so ? The answer to my question is nothing thats the sad thing. Go cloth yourself and learn respect for yourself, your body, and mind. If you have a mind that is use it to gain peoples attention for cancer awareness. Honestly from what I've see you got lucky because you knew which people to sleep with and nothing more. Be a role model to women not trash. Use your mind and dont degrade your body for any cause. Good Bye.
-Thank you

She's not stripping to bring attention to cancer...she's doing it to bring attention to herself and her husband, after his failed attempt to actually bring interest to soccer in the U.S.

Doesn't anyone get the tee-shirt. If it had said "protect the skin you're in" and she was fully clothed, it wouldn't have made a bit of sense. Stop trying to always find the negative in every situation.

I am a cancer survivor, malignant melonoma. Fastest spreading cancer there is. Thing is, when I had it, stage 2, NONE of my friends were really worried; but damn, get breast cancer, stage 1 and everyong falls apart for that person. ??? SKIN CANCER IS DEADLY. My friends never considered me a "cancer survivor"....??? I had it cut out, way out by a good doctor. I survived. FORGO TANNING BOOTHS, they are not regulated. And don't drench yourself with that tanning oil.

I LOVE Victoria Beckham!!!!....She has style, class and has brought 3 gorgeous boys into our world. She works hard at being a great mother, wife and not to mention going back on tour with the girls. She has a mind and speaks it which is more then i can say about those of you on this site posting negative comments about her.Cancer sucks no matter what type you have and/or what stage you are in and I support cancer whole heartedly.ANYONE who works hard to support the cause should never be torn down no matter how you support.Victoria is gorgeous and thats just how its going to be

so I wonder..why do people place negative comments on here about someone who is DOING something about the issue at hand? I may not know Victoria Beckham personally BUT...I do appreciate her taking her time to be a part of something so important.I have been scared with bad mammograms and I watch the sun religiously....and if I ever am diagnosed with any form of cancer I would want someone...anyone...to help fund for a cure.Be proud of who she is...appreciate her for her heart and most definitly dont hate behind a computer...its just as tacky as your negative comments.Love you Victoria!!!!

I'm tired of the negative information being put out about tanning beds. The truth is that tanning salons are NOT allowed to list the several advantages to controlled and regulated tanning such as the fact that it's regulated (you cannot tan at the same salon twice in a 24 hour period and you cannot tan but for so long since the beds are timed). Another positive about tanning in a salon is the Vitamin D factor (your body needs it especially if you don't consume enough in your diet), it clears acne, releases endorphines (makes you happy) and is great for blood circulation. There are many other reasons that I cannot remember but unfortunately, Big Brother Government doesn't want you to see this list when you go tanning or you might over-do it. Big Brother Government doesn't think you make good decisions on your own. Just wait until Big Brother Government is in charge of your health care (Universal Health Care) ... they won't let you do anything that might cost them money to treat. SAY NO TO BIG BROTHER = SAY NO TO SOCIALIZED MEDICINE

as far as getting vitamin d, just going outside for 15 minutes a day, with sunscreen, gives you more than what is recomended daily. and if you can't even manage that, take a multivitamin. as for the blood circulation and the endorphines, you can get those during your 15 minutes outside taking a nice brisk walk, wearing your sunscreen. and as for the acne, there is an entire isle in the grocery store with something we hygenically astute folks like to call soap. dipshit.
