PETA pulls a sneak attack on DK

It may seem painfully obvious to most of us, but often times misguided animal rights crusaders fail to recognize the boundaries of decency or taste. While nearly all normal, well-adjusted human beings understand that it's extremely rude to sneak into someone's home and force them to watch a gruesome DVD of animals being slaughtered -- apparently, the folks at PETA do not. And you thought that door-to-door vacuum salesman was pushy.Last Wednesday, PETA sent a "fashionably dressed" young woman to Donna Karan's Manhattan apartment armed with a tray of lattes and a portable DVD player. Some poor, formerly employed doorman was fooled by the guise and let the PETA agent into the residence, thinking she was making a delivery. She hovered around waiting for Karan to return, shoving the DVD player in DK's face when she arrived and showing her images of animals being skinned and butchered for their pelts.
Taken aback, DK let the infiltrator know that she needed to leave and told her that "I've seen all these [videos], but for me it's just purses and accessories." Then she released the hounds, who quickly mauled and ate the intrude all up. Just kidding. Way to go DK, way to take a stand for fur!
