Paris vs. cat lady
Will Paris ever pick up her neutered cat? That's what Kris Kelly -- owner of the animal rescue organization named after herself -- is wondering right now. Apparently, Ms. Hilton 'rescued' the cat just days before she was sent to jail back in June. The cat, which she reportedly named Prada, was supposed to come back to the vet in order to get neutered ASAP.Considering her time inside of the Lynwood correctional facility and her busy schedule filled with humanitarian activities, Paris didn't get a chance to get the cat fixed until January 30th. Now, a few weeks later, Kris Kelley is threatening to rescue the cat back from Paris -- permanently.
Kelly claims that the uber-brat won't return her phone calls and is trying to get away with "a clear-cut case of abandonment." On the other end of the controversy, Hilton's staff is saying that this is a publicity stunt, engineered by an opportunistic actress/animal rights activist. So, who do you trust: the loathsome Paris? Or the animal rights lady who smells like cat pee?

I believe the "Cat Lady". Paris seems so brain dead to me to ever consider her side :/ I lost all respect for the woman after the prision incident.

Oh this is hilarious. "animal rights lady who smells like cat pee" - like thats even relevent or mature to say. Its against the law to leave an animal at a shelter like that, so the "cat pee lady" is just doing her job. If Paris wont return phone calls, well, "uber brat" is certainly a fair assessment....why is she famous exactly? ~IF~ she gets the cat back, I hope she gets scratched and a nasty infection ensues.

See, this is what happens when celebrities treat animals like accessories. Animals are living beings, not Prada bags. You can't put a cat on "hold" until you decide whether or not you want it.
Quite frankly, I can't imagine Paris "rescuing" any living creature anyway. I call publicity stunt that went awry when Paris realized that she might actually have to care about the darn thing.

It's really funny that this article is talking about humane treatment of animals; the most inhumane thing that one can do to their pet is to neuter it. I really don't care one way or another what Paris does or her issues but it doesn't seem to me like anyone really care about the cat itself: the cat lady's probably just jumping at a chance to get at a celebrity, and who knows what goes on in the mind of Paris Hilton?

No, neutering is NOT inhumane. What's inhumane is the multitudes of homeless, starving, disease ridden cats and dogs that would roam the streets if we didn't spay and neuter our pets. Exactly what are YOU concerned with here, the PETA movement of the moment or the animals?

Paris seems so desperate to get herself out of that celebrity "pithole" she had fallen when she got herself to jail, I doubt she would try to do anything that is "right." Rescuing a cat? Haha, that really makes me laugh. She just did it so that she'll put herself in a better spotlight. I believe the cat lady. Paris seems so brainless, I really doubt that she'll do something good that doesn't go towards her benefits.

at least paris took "prada" to a vet, someone that would know how to keep her "pussy" taken care of. obviously it sounds like the vet lady wants it. and i bet if she keeps it shell brag later to ppl the she doesnt care that she smells like cat pee buz it use to be paris's. and shell still call the kitty prada. im sure paris had a good reason...its not like she let it out in the wild.

Words that don't belong to you? I wasn't aware that words belonged to people. I know that "The Donald" bought the rights to the phrase, "you're fired", however, I'm quite sure no one owns the rights to "uber-brat". Even if they did, who really cares if some dude decides to use it?
